These comments are exactly why I wrote Ted off after 2016.
It’s not that I think he’s dead wrong about the negativity associated with more anti-gun measures, it’s just that it’s Ted once again opening up his pie-hole to not only set up a negative framework around Trump, but a disastrous outcome for the nation.
Trump is not going to introduce negative gun legislation.
After all the talk, I’ll be surprised if he even introduces much in the way of tightened background checks.
Ted really needs to think before he opens his mouth.
Let’s say Trump pushed for reinstating the assault weapons ban, and instituted escalated background checks.
I’m now at the point I would detest either move. That being said, is some damage to gun rights as bad as an elimination of them across the board.
We (including foot in mouth Cruz) need to always keep in mind the alternatives. If the Leftists get the White House and both branches of Congress, our gun rights would evaporate.
Yes the SCOTUS could block some of it, but other things would be instituted to achieve the same goals.
Is it a good idea to talk in terms of just staying home? Do I really need to raise that point?
Evidently.
Just staying home means that local, regional, state-wide, and federal office holders(R) would lose.
Boy that would sure serve Trump right! /s
Is loose talk of this a good idea? Folks, we have to show up at the polls in 2020. We have to vote for every (R) there is. Our nation depends on it.
Getting the vapors and acting out like Ted talks about loosely here would doom this nation.
We’re not talking about a Jeb Bush vs Elizabeth Warren. We’re talking about Trump vs absolute diehard Leftists.
If he hasn’t done enough for folks to grasp his value to us by now, this nation couldn’t be saved by his efforts anyway.
Just add the Conservative populace to the leftists, democRats, the GOPe, the RNC, the MSM, who now oppose decent nation loving God fearing policies.
There will not be another Donald Trump. If anyone thinks he’s bad, I sadly instruct them to watch what takes place over the next twenty years without him.
Loose talk of that is unacceptable.
