On Monday. September 16, Joel Gilbert will preview his new documentary, “The Trayvon Hoax,” in the 500-seat Ballroom of the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. The screening begins at 1 p.m. Admission is free, and Gilbert is encouraging all interested parties to come see for themselves what could be a game-changer in the way the media report racially-charged news. Gilbert’s findings are that significant.

Having written a book on the 2012 shooting death of Trayvon Martin — If I Had a Son-- I have been following Gilbert’s progress with interest. In fact, I introduced Gilbert to George Zimmerman, the man who shot Martin. Those who have followed the case know that not since the Scottsboro boys has any ordinary citizen endured the kind of malicious and conspicuously false reporting Zimmerman has. My hope was that Gilbert would set the record straight.

Gilbert has done that and more. In the course of his relentless research into the shooting and subsequent trial, I can say without risk of overstatement that he has unearthed a legal fraud the likes of which I know no parallel. Not only has Gilbert discovered it, but he has also proved it six ways from Sunday, including DNA and handwriting analysis.

If I were Trayvon Martin’s parents or his family’s attorneys, I would be very nervous right now. If I were Florida state attorneys who prosecuted the case, I would be more nervous still. And if I were the media who covered this case — are you listening Matt Gutman and Lisa Bloom? — I would prepare to be mortified. The coverage of this case was a disgrace from day one.

To uncover this staggering fraud, Gilbert did what reporters used to do. He immersed himself in the milieu that produced Trayvon Martin.

The big "secret" about the Zimmerman-Martin encounter was it threw the brakes on an evolving dream of the radical Black culture.

Until Z-M, there was an increasing frequency of events where young blacks would "sucker-punch" elder whites -- and get away with it.

The goal was to legitimize that blacks ("because... racism") would be entitled to assault whites -- with social (and, eventually, legal) impunity.

Zimmerman-Martin killed that momentum. And, may have prevented -- or greatly delayed -- an eventual race war...

Cashill mentions DNA and handwriting analysis as part of proof of massive legal fraud. Nothing is going to change minds about Trayvon’s sainthood, and the insurance company will have zero interest in demanding redress. Scoff away, but evidence of legal fraud creates a small chance of disbarring some of the scoundrels behind the hoax and prosecution, and maybe keeping the lovely Sabrina Martin out of elected office.

Obviously, Cashill wrote his piece to promote Gilbert’s film and book. I’d be interested to know what evidence (or ebbadense, as Mr. Crump taught us) Gilbert has come up with.

Had the situation been handled different by Trayvon Martin, he might still be alive.

The leadership of the so called political opposition (Republican) will wonder why as they lose a crucial election because of their inability to stand on principles. When Presidential actions should have been denouced and the police defended. Clarke decried Obama’s abuse of the “Bully Pulpit” to create racial division which wound up using other similar incidents such as Ferguson MO and NYC.. Where Obama supported by the media would defend the attacker resisting arrest killed in the struggle over a law officers gun. Alledging the attacker was an “unarmed victim” of police brutality because he was black. Subsequently. There were continuous attacks on police ending up in a score of deaths.It Began when Obama used a non descript incident known as The Zimmerman trial and encouraged racial division through his twice use of the “Bully Pulpit”

Obama defended the black attacker who was killed (a 17 year old 5’11 175 pound Trayvon Martin) by a 40 something year old 5’6” black hispanic (Jorge Zimmerman) working security in an integrated housing complex that was attacked by Martin knocking Zimmerman to the ground and the black youth was killed in a struggle over Zimmerman’s gun.

The media portayed the incident as Martin was an innocent black youth murdered in cold blood because he was black and the guard as a white hispanic guarding an exclusive white “gated”community .

Obama used the incident to declare racial division by using the “Bully Pulpit” declaring Martin was a victim of whites who could have been; First; “his son”, then; Obama himself.

When that inflammatory defense was picked by black gangs It also wound up and was used as an excuse to commit a score of racial assaults ending in deaths and serious injuries.

All the while this was happening in various areas of the country Such as the murder of an Australian visitor from Melbourne Christopher Lane killed while exercising on a Duncan Oklahoma street by members of the black gang known as the Crypts.
Such assaults were described by the press as “black youths with nothing better to do” Although there were some gang members who admitted their assaults were “for Trayvon” but met by stony silence from the democrats or denial from MSM because initially it was dismissed as a Obama miss-speak. As if he didn’t rely on a teleprompter for carefully prepared text checked out by advisers giving him the facts.

Shamefully members of the opposition so called Republicans chose not to condemn this but convenient to ignore. Thus demonstrate they are politically dysfunctional. Unwilling to work with or even recognize legitimate concerns from what they call the tea party who in reality are the Reagan voters of 2016 and unable to congeal into a unified working political unit. The media made up that story, doctored tapes and invented facts and it made them a ton of money.

That was the start of the media crating stories out of thin air and presenting this us against them crap that has continued to generate massive profits and make some of the media presenters actually believe they are movie stars.

Marten got shot because he left Zimmerman no other choice. This was found by the courts and three separate investigations and we still have people, left wing politicians, who call the incident murder.

I totally agree the case against Zimmerman was bogus. But this is hyperbole that grows wearisome.

NOTHING is going to happen to the parents of the man who attacked George Zimmerman OR their lawyers. Nothing.

And NOTHING is going to happen to the prosecution. NOTHING.

The media has been killing itself with cases like these for years (see: Duke lacrosse team, for instance)...so that is nothing new. So the writer is correct about the media.
