Full title: Former 'Grey's Anatomy' star Isaiah Washington supports Trump: Democrats are 'not doing enough' for the black community

Isaiah Washington is a Trump supporter and he's not afraid to say it. The former Grey's Anatomy star appeared on Fox Nation's Nuff Said and explained why he left the Democratic party, adding there are plenty of like-minded conservative actors but they are too afraid to "come out of the closet."

"You got a lot of conservative or centric libertarian-minded people that really care about other people but they are terrified to come out of the closet and say anything that's not in line with the Democratic party," he told host Tyrus. (It's an interesting analogy as Washington was fired from Grey's Anatomy for using a homophobic slur.)

Washington supports the #WalkAway campaign, a movement urging people to "walk away from the divisive tenets endorsed and mandated by the Democratic Party of today." The 100 star used to be a democrat, but feels the party is "not doing enough" for the black community.

"Walking away... is a sacrifice, it's a risk and there's a penalty for it," the 56-year-old actor said. "But I will only walk away when it matters and the reason why I've chosen to walk away from the Democratic party as I know it and walk away from the Republican party as I don't know it, is that something doesn't feel right... If I look at the political lineage of the Democratic party over the last 50 years of my lifetime... and very little has changed in my community... then I have some questions. I've got more than questions."

What prevents the “black community” from doing for itself?

(crickets)

And see part three of my tagline. Fit the description?

People here were bashing this guy the other day for calling out conservatives to speak out in Hollywood because he’s not a conservative.

Well I don’t care what party he belongs to, even if it’s the “Green” party. He’s pulling the “Trump” lever and that’s what counts on election day.

Also

...Washington was fired from Grey’s Anatomy for using a homophobic slur....

OMG!!! He used a gay slur!!!!! Why is he not in the chair yet!!???

SMH

I’m not condoning using “slurs”, though that word is having less and less meaning.

But getting fired over it?? That’s ridiculous.

Because he could have called white folks a million names and kept his job.

Whats left to do, President Trump has brought the lowest unemployment in history(not counting slavery), record breaking wage growth, fewest numbers on food stamps. The only thing Dimms have to offer is lost jobs, lost income,& back to the Government welfare plantation.

One thing our politicians could do for the black community is to let the fathers of the inner-city children stay in the homes, even if the mothers qualify for taxpayer support. This is done in Canada. Canada does not have young males running wild in its city streets.

Exactly. I’m SO tired of hearing “the government needs to do...” People need to realize that government is more often than not the CAUSE of your problems.

Agreed. But you forgot the most important thing they have to offer: COMMUNISM.

Isaiah Washington is wrong.

When democrats (the party of the KKK, White Citizen's Council, George Wallace and Bull Conner) took over the black community with their lies, the first horrible changes they made were to install new 'leaders'.

The old leaders of the black community had brought blacks through slavery, Jim Crow, and the horrors of the KKK with families intact - and a divorce rate lower than that of white families. Black men were valued in the community as men of God and heads of their families.

Democrats changed all of that...

Democrats moved in and upended the black community - bringing in new leaders - corrupt democrat poverty pimps as 'leaders' - men who assisted with breaking up the black family and destroying established neighborhoods with urban renewal etc.

So yeah, the democrat party has done a lot to the black community - almost all of it bad...

I once heard someone state that desegregation was bad for blacks because while segregated, they were forced to shop at black businesses which helped to support a burgeoning middle class and the values that went with it. No doubt LBJ and the democrats did most of the damage, but I wonder how much influence desegregation had given that everything in life has a downside.
