Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump revealed on Thursday that his favorite bible verse is "eye for an eye."
Trump made the revelation during an interview with conservative radio host Bob Lonsberry on WHAM 1180 AM in Rochester, New York, who asked the real estate mogul-turned-presidential, if he had a favorite Bible verse or story that "informed" his thinking or character.
Well, I think many," Trump responded. "I mean, when we get into the Bible, I think many, so many. And some people, look, an 'eye for an eye,' you can almost say that. That's not a particularly nice thing."
Trump, who is Presbyterian, said the country has to be strong in defending itself.
"I mean, when you see what's going on with our country, how people are taking advantage of us, and how they scoff at us and laugh at us. We have to be very firm and have to be very strong."

Well I guess we have something to talk about. Trump 2020
Trump should read his Bible more. Maybe look it up in the Two Corinthians. An eye for an eye is not Christian.
Cursing and mutilating evil is righteous.
I see the headline. I do not read that quote in the following text.
Is this more of the Media pulling stuff out of a dark place?
Graven images are fine?
Holy, holy, holy.
What is 490 plus one?
Good. That is what a national leader should practice.
It looks like they *see* what they want to *see*.
All righty then, if they insist.
Bless their hearts.
Fake.
And it’s from 3 years ago.
One more than can be forgiven.
eye for an eye err Let the punishment fit the crime.
“Trump should read his Bible more. Maybe look it up in the Two Corinthians. An eye for an eye is not Christian”.
Christian or not, it’s what Trump has on his mind and that’s good enough for me.
What happens when you turn the other cheek?
He didn’t say it was his favorite.
Fake Headline. Fake News.
I would say it is the number of morons in Congress. But I know my Civics. There are more than 491 morons in DC.
70×70 is how many times you should forgive. After that the Bible says kill them all and let God sort it out. Or I could be mistaken. Maybe Im thinking of the Marine Corp manual.
FYI, I listen to the great evangelical mathematician/Christian apologist, John Lennox, and he also says “Two Corinthians, Samuel, etc. Probably a Church of England, Episcopalian, or certain Presbyterian Church way of saying it. So ridiculing the President for saying it , is sort of like laughing at people who mispronounce Job in the Bible, when they themselves say Lot, which should be pronounced “Lote”. (Almost no one pronounces it that way, but both Job and Lot should be pronounced with a long “O”).
I think he meant we need to take out the eye—the one taking advantage of our country, and laughing and scoffing at us.
You know—that stupid thing on the top of the pyramid.
