But since the 2018 midterm elections, the so-called “Orange Curtain” has come down and Democrats have made huge gains in an area once dominated by Republicans.

California’s poor business climate incentivized aerospace to leave Orange County. Many of the professionals with well paid careers in the industry who voted conservative relocated with them. That was 21 years ago for us. It’s now just another nice place to visit.

It’s also dying because it’s leaders are opposed to the interests of their core voters and they lie constantly about it.

I blame the red state Freepers who keep announcing their economic success

No problem here. I would never encourage people to more to the hell hole that is Arizona: 140℉ every day, rattlesnakes roaming the neighborhoods, scorpions the size of Chihuahuas.

I hear Texas is nice.

No, your point is well taken.

Normal people avoid political work like the plague, for good and valid reasons.

Yes it would. He could actually win CA in 2020, if he wanted to.

And as a result, the Left is more than happy to fill that void.

The GOPe dismissed Pat Buchanan supporters in the early 90s, when he brought illegal immigration up. Now that CA has fallen, it’s TX and FL next.

get back to me when the illegal vote has been effectively excluded...OR there has been a court case consequent to voter disenfranchisement by the state of California refusing to adequately protect state citizens vote.

Texas has taken a bunch of them like Toyota North America and it’s 17000+. Many others, like McKesson, as well. I only wish the CA Republicans were as conservative as the rest of us!

Since party branding is the problem maybe it is time to run under another party id in some of these states. Considering many of the voters just look for the first letter maybe the Democratic Revolutionary party will work for Republicans.

They allow strangers to go door to door with absentee ballots in hand, and to sit in people’s kitchens and living rooms to help them fill out their ballots. That is insane - and should be illegal just as it is illegal to campaign near a polling station.

However the state also now has open primary - which was an attempt to get Democrats to step all over the GOP field. But with the GOP nearly crushed as a party, and Trump’s nomination virtually assured, GOP voters now have the chance to step all over the DEM field for 2020. And the CA Dem primary for POTUS is earlier and more influential than in the past so this is a chance for GOP voters to give a large number of delegates to one of the Dem candidates if the GOP voters can get organized.

Who to support would be a question to determine closer to the date and when the field winnows. Either help them pick the winner, or, support a candidate that will assure no victory and force a convention vote, or, support the craziest candidate left etc...

Though it is a pipe dream to ever save california from third world countrydom, I bet he could pull off the largest rally yet in LA. I bet he could do it without shutting down the entire freeway system too

“Give it another 5 years. It will against the law in CA to vote Republican.”

It already is - the primary system eliminating the opportunity to vote Republican in many races.

This is why LINSEY GRAHAM MUST END THE BLUE SLIP PROCESS for District Court Judges that, in effect, gives DemocRAT Senators VETO POWER over Trump’s nominees in California (and in other RAT ruled states such as Washington).

End it NOW, Lindsey!

If we stop counting Illegals during the census then California would loose a whole lot of representatives.

It will be illegal for any but Democrats to be on the ballot for statewide offices. Cali has a better chance at success with that than with keeping a Republican running off the Presidential line.
