Piss on him. See the tag line!
Whatever support and enthusiasm I had for the guy just evaporated.
Coups and prison-bloc executions:
I WONDER if we should give up our guns.
“Y’all want red flag laws and enhanced background checks? We want national reciprocity (Constitutional Carry included), NFA/GCA/922(O) repeal, and at-cost M4s via theCMP.com). Heck, buying a case of ammo per year should be a 100% tax credit.”
I think you’re lying, Dan. If the law were really what you describe it to be it wouldn’t stop one violent crime in a decade. But it won’t be what you’re saying it will be will it?
IIRC, Parkland shooter called the police and told them he was going to snap and shoot up a crowd. Yes, sometimes it is pretty ****ing clear someone is going to do bad things; authorities should get their butts in gear and get the guy adjudicated a threat pronto (yes, we have laws for that).
That “we need red flag laws” shows the absurdity of expanding background checks: if gov’t agents aren’t going to act on red flags now, disqualifying information isn’t going to get into the background check system.
If a guy participates in an armed robbery, are you against taking his weapons away?
If a guy goes to a public restaurant and pulls a gun on Conservatives unprovoked, do you wish to allow him a second chance?
Some guy goes out and rapes a woman. Do you want him hanging on to his guns?
And how many times had the cops and sheriffs been called to that little prick's house? 43? They had plenty of cause to deal with him under current law. One more law does nothing about crime.
It’s time to bury your extra guns.
Tom Cruise made a movie about this if I recall.
Can they confiscate a Car for the same reason?
In most cases, after conviction, the guy in question needs to spend many years in jail. Armed robbery - 20 years, rape - 50 years. Unprovoked brandishing? well, prove it was done, beyond a reasonable doubt, with malice, that’s maybe 1-5 years.
Any red flag type law must have due process and penalties for false claims. If your neighbor makes a false accusation and your gun is taken then the neighbor should be liable both civilly and criminally. That being said “shall not be infringed” should be the watch words.
[[I dont understand why we keep having gun conversations on the lefts terms.]]
Because many republicans do not learn from past experience-
The left doesn’t even honor or respect our constitution- what makes people on the right think for one second that the left will honor ‘strong due process protections’ in any bill that is passed?
I’m sad that Dan doesn’t realize this yet- the left will NEVER be satisfied with ANYTHING that gets passed- they are as bad as the Palestinians- honestly- the more that is given them- the more they demand- Wake up Dan C- please- you’re very strong on certain issues- don’t cave on this one
Post 37 and yet no indication of a RAT or a republican. Why? he is an “R”.
I think that Crenshaw lost his spine when he lost his eye.
