The perception that mass shootings are a “white man’s problem” lingers around the country because white mass shooters tend to get more publicity.
Around the same time that the media was focused on the mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton, 60 people were shot in Chicago over the weekend. 24 of those people were shot in four hours.
Baltimore reached its 200th murder victim of the year during its “Ceasefire Weekend”.
4 people were killed in 4 days in Kansas City. 6 men were shot in Philly during the filming of a rap video.
Even in Toronto, 15 people were wounded in shootings over the weekend. Over 350 people have been shot this year in the Canadian city which has gun control, no NRA, and none of the usual excuses.
Without proof, they keep saying "words", especially from a president they despise, are violence.....
but weirdo lefties rarely cite the left-wing violence of Antifa.
They fight harder for “rights” not even mentioned in the Constitution – abortion, health care, a “free” college education –
than those intrinsic rights specifically singled out for protection from govt infringement in the Bill of Rights.
That’s because desperate Democrats crave power and control, and they’re willing to do anything to get it.
They will savagely strip innocent patriots of their rights in order to feel "the thrill of controlling people. "

You do realize that Toronto is larger than Chicago?
Toronto has been growing and Chicago is shrinking.
Chicago probably manages to have more shootings in its worst two months than Toronto has in a year.
Montreal edges out Houston is 5th in Canada-U.S., and there is a huge drop off from Houston to Phoenix.
It isn’t entirely unfair, but Canada is largely lacking in certain demographics that tend to turn entire neighborhoods into Beirut or Mogadishu.
While these have been growing somewhat, it is still a very different ball of wax.
And for the most part, you won’t find me defending Toronto much—I live about two hours north of the north-eastern corner of the GTA—but size wise both the city and the area are something like Chicago—and I suspect perhaps a little worse in terms of attempting to drive through.
I’ve heard of tactics used to deal with LA by people who live in Orange county, and have adopted them profitably.

Be highly aware both of rush hour and which way traffic runs in a given area during rush hour—going against traffic in rush hour is the only way to travel during rush hour. Once one gets to the point where one is going with traffic, pull over—have a coffee, take a nap, go to Mass, read a book—but don’t waste your time in traffic.
Optimally, know the absolute best times to go through and deliberately time all travel accordingly.
Overnight construction in Toronto wraps up about 5 AM—traffic starts to build at 6—
I live about 3 hours away, so I either want to be up at 2 AM and drive like a bat out of hell, or stay some place closer and hit the road around, say , 4, so that one can hit the sweet spot at 5 AM.
By timing it right, I can be through the heart of the city by the time traffic starts to build and in Buffalo by 7 AM.
Time it wrong, hit the east end an hour and a half later, and it will take you all day.
