He sounds like a Bernie Sanders supporter to me. Bernie was actually anti-immigration before the DNC screwed him last election and brought him back in line with their pro immigration stance. Everything he said is pro Bernie-socialism.

This manifesto business, if you look over all of this...is awful confusing and I suspect that he had a professor or two that just dumped a lot of intellectual stuff on him, and he was unable to really assemble this and grasp it. That Christchurch nutcase with his manifesto, seemed the same way. These are people on some mission in life to create a revolution and save mankind.

Good point. People forget this, but I believe Bernie understands (or understood) you cannot have a “welfare state” with lavish benefits for workers with unchecked immigration.
Now he is peddling the same free stuff and more, but the irony is that there is really no difference between him and the other progressive candidates - it is all free stuff so he just looks like an angry old white guy.

No need to play the Dem label games. Both sides have fruits and nuts. Only Democrats make icons out of them.
At its most basic level, the main cause of this phenomenon is the decline of Christianity in this country. Does someone who fears eternal damnation do a mass shooting? I’d really like to see some stats on whether any of these punks was raised in a church-going family. As the saying goes, if you believe in nothing, you’ll believe in anything.
Also, I truly believe that first-person shooter video games have played a role. Some of these guys have spent years of their lives mowing virtual people down. A few crazy idiots have conditioned their brains to think that shooting people is some sort of ultimate high.
