There is plenty for the two women to talk about
Nancy Pelosi and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will have a face-to-face meeting next week after a feud broke out between the speaker and 'the squad' amid rising tensions between the liberal and moderate wings of the Democratic Party.
The two women will meet on Thursday, July 25, a Democratic leadership aide confirmed.
No details have been released on where the two will have their sit down - whether in Pelosi's ornate speaker's office that overlooks the National Mall or in one of the many other meeting rooms on Capitol Hill.
Ocasio-Cortez told CBS News this week that staff from her office and the speaker's office were working on scheduling the meeting even as she insisted there was no feud between herself and Pelosi.
The two women haven't spoken one-on-one in months.
And reports have been rife this month about tension between Pelosi, a long time powerhouse on Capitol Hill, and members of the 'squad' - Ocasio-Cortez, Ilham Omar, Rashid Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley - four young lawmakers with large social media followings that gives them a different kind of political power.

Nancy is smart enough to know that a large social media following means squat, it’s the vote and voters that have meaning. She also knows that the American people are turned off by these disgusting, arrogant women.
The Speaker is having “talks” with a freshman congresswoman of a whole 6 months whom she said had no real support.
That’s admission of defeat, and negotiation of surrender.
In the confrontation, the old broad will be given her comeuppance.

It is very predictable, but the damage has been done and it is extensive and will last for awhile. No amount of damage control will fix it in the short-term.
They have become the new face of the democrat party and despite the fawning of the MSM who few pay much attention to anymore it has damaged the brand with moderates and independents.
Perhaps more importantly, it has severely damaged the weaponized use of the term “racist.” The use of this term has no sting when everyone clearly sees that it really means “you do not agree with me so therefore you are a racist.”
Trump has neutered their bully stick.
Why does AOC even have to be there? A simple glass of water would suffice.
The focus will be on burying the hatchet and focusing on destroying trump.
But is it Pelosi or AOC that is the dead cat in the middle?

The Jihad Squad are the news rulers of the House.
It is not just the four faces. It is those behind the four faces that Pelosi fears along with the undeniable damage they are doing to the brand and their 2020 field. The squad has sucked all of the air out of the room.
Which party is more united right now?
Which party is more favored by middle America right now?
Which party is increasingly gaining minority support and which cannot afford to lose even a small fraction of that vote in some districts?
Nancy has to be genuinely worried about her gavel. They have accomplished nothing of substance, have no clear vision (certainly no unity), and they are stuck on obstruction and investigation. The most publicized offering from her party has been the Green New Deal and impeachment and both are political dogs.
Nancy sees all of this and she has to be in a panic. She tried to marginalize them (a smart move) and the MSM did not cooperate (nor did AOC) and she got sucked back into a public fight that once again highlighted the radical views of the four and made a bad situation worse.
I hope AOC tells off the old hag. I want a good, old-fashioned cat fight that splits their party and where the corporate media liars are forced to cover it.
