785 days and waiting: Trump ambassadors face unprecedented delays at hands of Senate Democrats
Washington Examiner ^ | July 10, 2019

President Trump is more than half-done with his first term, but in many countries, his foreign policy remains on the runway as Democrats force massive delays on ambassador confirmation votes. Now, Trump allies backed by veteran diplomats are urging a fight as key posts go unfilled.

Data reviewed by the Washington Examiner show delays longer than in recent administrations, with some nominees waiting since 2017 for a vote.

“They need to be there, in place, doing their jobs. Long delays in the appointments of ambassadors needlessly damage U.S. security,” said Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., the ranking member of the House intelligence committee.

Mitch needs to put this on the same playing field as judges.

Bush League Republicans have been hobbling the President just as much as Democrats.

Now is the time to get rid of the Bush League Republicans, starting with Flimsey Grahamnesty.

Bush League Republicans want to help the Democrats get a permanent majority through amnesty.
Before President Trump the citizens had NO representation.

For 2020, the ones up are, Flimsey Grahamnesty, Tillis, Gardner, McSally, Daines, Collins, Cornyn, Capito, Enzi, Rounds, Sasse, Hyde-Smith, Ernst and McConnell.
They all should have primary challengers.

They are all Bush League Republicans.
They need to be replaced with real Republicans that side with the citizens and the rule of law.

The only ones worthy of re-election are Inhofe, Sullivan, Cotton, Perdue, Risch and Cassidy.

They need to adjourn the senate so Trump can make appointments that can last until his re-election. Get with Mitch and decide which appointments are acceptable.

Please forgive my rant! President Trump is the only one in DC who is trying to serve the people of this country. It’s time to clean out DC of ALL who serve only themselves, the establishment and the banking cartels. At least Trump is trying to do that too.

“Judges, Judges Judges are moving along very well.”

Finally. How long did Mitch drag his ass before he sped up the process? Too long.

Mitch was dragging ass because he thought, as did the rest of the rinos, that Trump would be chased from office by the Russia collusion story. When that became apparent that it was a dud, Mitch started working. Watch for him to go into slow down mode again as the effort to tie Trump to Epstein gets going.

I don’t think he ever got into speed up mode. It wouldn’t surprise me if you’re right, but I’m not seeing anything about Epstein that implicates Trump. There’s a lot of wishful thinking among the media horde but I think (hope) Mitch is smart enough to figure out what’s going on.

He’s up for reelection (as is Graham) and I presume getting reelected is foremost in their minds right now.

Ain’t much getting done until after the 2020 election.

Have him appoint them as Czars for an indefinite period, or until they are confirmed. He can claim this is what Obama did, and without senate approval.
