Fourth of July flag-burning at White House erupts in chaos, with 3 arrested

At least three Revolutionary Communist Party activists were arrested outside the White House after burning an American flag on the Fourth of July.
The activists, opposing President Trump and calling for a "world without America," were met by a large counterprotest.
The Secret Service arrested flag-burning activist Gregory "Joey" Johnson and at least two allies in the aftermath.

It’s unusual to see the press identify them accurately.
When you see street demonstrations watch for “revcom” or “revcom.us” on the signs.

This is a almost standard RCP stunt. The purpose is to get their tiny organization publicity. They did this at the main gate of Ft Monmouth back in the Reagan administration and got themselves pretty well beat up by members of Vietnam Vets Against War. These fellows folded the scorched flag in the correct triangle and presented it to the base commander (with the correct salute as he was the ranking person). A very good bit of optics.
