To those of you who wish the worse for all of us in
California, the area in question is about as desolate
as it gets. Sorry.

Shook the hovel pretty good to the point where it was beginning to become disconcerting. But tapered off.

I'd love to see all the good,respectable people of Kalifornia (all 500,000 of them) be given secret notice to get the hell out and,once they're gone,see the state literally slide into the sea.
Florida oranges are good enough for me...I don't need any of that Kalifornia ca@p.

Currently on Drudge - a 6.4 earthquake in CA.
Below, more info.
"It was proceeded by magnitude 4.2 temblor that shook the area about 30 minutes before the large quake, seismologist Lucy Jones tweeted, calling the earlier tremor a foreshock.

@DrLucyJones
A M6.6 near Ridgecrest. The M4.2 a half hour before was a foreshock. This area had lots of M5+s in the 198os.
SNIP
A short time after the 6.4 earthquake, aftershocks measuring 4.7, 4.2, 3.8 and 3.5 hit the same area, USGS reported.
The epicenter is within the sprawling Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division at China Lake, where a desert test range is located."

I have a friend who lives by the Naval base.
Just checked in.
They had three in a row two 4.x, then the 6.2.
Broke dishes. Knocked a foot of water out of his pool.
No foundation, exterior or interior property damage. Sale pending. Lucky.
