I think most Americans are “comfortable” or certainly “polite” with LGBTs at work and in social situations.

But, personal relationships are a different story.

Most important for me are political situations, where I am not comfortable, because most LGBTs are Leftists, and many LGBTs are stridently Leftist.

Across all subcategories, young Americans became less comfortable with the idea of interacting with gay/lesbian, trans and nonbinary people. The percentage of 18- to 34-year-olds who felt uneasy about a family member coming out increased from 29% to 36%. Even at the clinic, where science and expertise are most valuable, young adults weren’t keen on the idea of being treated by a queer doctor either, with 34% polling as uncomfortable with the situation, compared to 27% last year.

People didn't really care when the LGBTWTFBBQ was homosexual dudes half in the closet, and you might know one or two from a different department at work, or the grocery store. Lesbians were the hot chicks from the movies.

Now, the homos are militant, in-your-face, and are past potato, going full-blown retard on the eunuchs pretending to be chicks, gay pride parades full of nudity/public sex, attacking religion, and so on. Now that people are much more exposed, it's more personal for everyone, and the content has gone from lispy speech to drag queens in school, means people are naturally going to stop accepting it as much.
