They really counted on Hillary wining, didn't they? Former director of National Intelligence James Clapper is in panic mode, realizing that the so-called "intelligence community" he supervised under President Obama is about to be revealed by Atty. Gen. William Barr and U.S. atty. John Durham as a weaponized arm of the Clinton campaign, with indictments to follow.
The man who lied to Congress about spying on the American people was shocked back in April to hear Barr testify before Congress that yes, he thought the Trump campaign had been spied upon by his political opponents. As Breitbart reported:
Well, I thought it was most stunning and scary. I was amazed at that and rather disappointed that the attorney general would say such a thing. The term "spying" has all kinds of negative connotations, and I have to believe he chose that term deliberately. And I think it's incredible that if he has concerns, he would have easily on his first day on the job, after his confirmation, asked his own IG, the Inspector General of the Department of Justice, for a briefing on his preliminary, in the course of his investigation, that is, the IG's investigation, whether there was any wrongdoing by the FBI. I think it would have been far more appropriate for him to just defer to that investigation rather than postulating, apparently with no evidence. He just has a feeling that there was spying against the campaign.
Barr has more than that, it would seem, and has sent chills up Clapper's spine that he and Durham are dead serious about checking out the real reasons for the Intelligence Community's "assessment" that Russia wanted Trump to win and was meddling in the election to achieve that result. According to a Wall Street Journal report:

When this comes out, it has to be an airtight case. One thing wrong in 1,000 items will be used by Hillary, Congress and the Media as proof this is a pack of lies.
I think a lot of rats are scared and starting to turn. They have to also be vetted completely.

While I remain skeptical that any of these coup plotters will face justice until I see them being taken in handcuffs by federal marshals, the squeeze is on. Just perhaps one of these rats will feel enough heat and do a plea deal to avoid long incarceration. That could crack things wide open and even implicate Obama. However, we have so often been disappointed that supposed bombshells have produced nothing I have little expectation.
More people need to go canoeing on the Potomac.

Perhaps, but both are guilty of treason and should be executed. Ditto for Comey, and those three are just for openers.
This should be considered a RICO case. Bundle them all together and in the end seize their assets.
Usually the prosecution will go after a low level criminal and then work their way to the top.
But in this case the defendants are all POWERFUL people and so I would hope they would go after them all at the same time.
Overload the media to the point they are unable to spin it (as well as when there is only one defendant).
When the first charge is made the media (and the left but I am being redundant) will go insane.

I can think of only ONE reason that the Rooskies wanted HRC to win...because they had sooooooo much compromising info on Hillary, she would have been their puppet for 8 years.

That having been said, most “special prosecutors” existence is to thoroughly whitewash each and every Federal mess they stumble across lest it should upend the DC gravy train for the rest.
I’ve seen all of this before.
The American people know crimes have been committed. Republicans huff and puff and pound the table on all the select talk shows... and then they go quietly into the night running out the clock with the next election. And then word is put out that Republicans just want to get all this unpleasantness behind the American public “for the good of the country”. And the cancer remains feeding within the host.
