President Trump decided Saturday to postpone Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids and mass deportations across the country, set to begin Sunday, to give Democrats more time to reach a bipartisan agreement about the immigration crisis at the southern border.
The change of heart came after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif, called Trump on Friday, asking him to call off the raids, a source familiar with the situation told Fox News.
Acting ICE Director Mark Morgan said on "Justice with Judge Jeanine" on Fox News on Saturday that the postponement will "give Congress another chance on a bipartisan method to actually get together, pass this supplement, so that we can enforce the rule of law, positively impact this crisis and maintain the integrity of this system."

He did this so the Democrat Mayors and other elected officials could blink and send intel to illegals and their front groups. Also I read that law enforcement were compromised.
The Dems aren't going to deal. They didn't deal during the 2 government shutdowns. This is POTUS putting the screws to the Rats in Congress, and if deportations happen, that's on the Dems.

Trump was going to enforce the law and round up and deport illegals who have broken the law again by not only coming here but also by missing their court dates for asylum hearings etc. Right so far?

I would like to know WHY , so many of these wet backs , from wherever they are coming from , as fat as can be . Take a look . Many are as fat as old hogs . Are they coming in , to eat us out of house and home ? To gain an endless supply of beans and tortillas for themselves ? They definitely do NOT looking like poor starving people to me . Not at all

But Congress may, by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

Using this might not require any current legislative action. I presume the Radical Republicans who wrote the 14th subsequently wrote implementing legislation. I just don't know whether it was later ever cancelled. If not, Trump has a sleeve full of aces if he was the will to use them.
Actually, in these contemplated raids, that IS NOT the case. These people being sought for removal, have been to court, judged ineligible to remain in our country, and been given an order of removal. So they have exhausted their legal remedies to stay here, have been ordered to leave, but have not done so. It is outrageous that any state or local government is giving sanctuary to them.
It’s called give them enough rope to hang themselves. He is under no delusion that Congress will do anything, but then it becomes an election issue. He wants to not only be reelected in 2020, but he wants to regain the House and increase the Senate majority as well.
More outrageous are the Democrat "leaders" of these local governments, aiding and abetting criminals. They should all be hung.
But do mayors actually take that oath? I don’t think they do.

I agree. Trump needs to not only win reelection, but have the Republicans in control of both the House and the Senate. He can go on the campaign trail and say he is willing to make deals to solve the illegal immigration problem but the Democrats refused to compromise.

They should be checking to see if their names are on the list of registered voters in the precinct they were living in and if they have been voting. Check the precinct list of registered voters where these people resided. If they’re on that list, Federal crime, charge them and those that enabled this
