I served from the front lines in my 20’s and 30’s to support roles continuing even through today.

What have you ever done for this country?

You’re a defense contractor talking your book, and are on a beeline to traitor status.

THIS:

If a company wants the US Navy to protect its vessel, then it should register as a US vessel.

When your goal is destroying a nation and its culture, ebola is just another tool.

Yet you pimp for war.

I don't pimp for war. No person who has served desires that. But you prepare for it and you give the bully a black eye when necessary.

Aren't you ashamed of yourself after the Iraqi mess, a war you cheered for?

Regardless of whether you think Iraq was a worthy cause after 911, I am ashamed this nation elected a poser in 2008 who essentially destroyed any good will gained in that effort, and disrespected the families who lost heroes in that effort.

The selectiveness of this resolve exposes it as a fraud.

This bears repeating. This is "Post of the Week" material here.

"It's a slamdunk, Mr. President, a slamdunk."

So, you are right, I don't trust our intelligence services implicitly, it is simply one more imponderable to factor into the mix. There are several questions that occur to me if you missed my reply of a couple of days ago.

Problem we run into are Treaties with other nations that can draw us into what is nor should be our Business, unless it affects the welfare of the USA.

We went through this during WW 2, we stayed out except as supply support and a few pilots who chose to join them for our British allies, until Pearl Harbor was Attacked.

You are a coward, and you turn a blind eye when the threat is right in your face.

The US had a Navy before the Barbary wars. I guess the price of flagging a ship under another country has its price.

As opposed to the neocon drumbeat of global intervention. I'll take the former, thank you.

I am sure the Saudis will be assisting us in any escort role our military may have in the Straits of Hormuz. They provided assistance last time Reagan did it during the so-called tanker war that resulted from the Iran-Iraq war.

We are protecting and defending Freedom of Navigation for the US and, by extension, everyone, as we have done since the days of the Barbary pirates.

If President Jefferson had sent the U.S. Marines "to the shores of Tripoli" to protect Japanese and Norwegian ships while 5,000 Mexicans and Indians poured into the U.S. unimpeded across the Appalachian Mountains every night, he would have been tossed into the Potomac River with an anchor chained around his neck ... and his estate at Monticello burned to the ground.

So when the Chinese start infringing on rights of passage thru the Taiwan Strait or the Straits of Malacca we should sit back and defer to someone else?

When the likes of John Bolton, Jack Keane and the usual assortment of MIC teat suckers are identifying our bullies, it's time to shuck them off like the blood suckers they are.

And let’s not forget it was a rat’s nest of interlocking treaties that turned the assassination of a minor official into The Great War, resulting in 18 million dead, and another 23 million maimed.
