Oh :)

There’s a pattern, huh?

Let’s see what happens this time.

I do kinda think maybe Trump gave a few of these guys guts that they didnt know they had.

I could be VERY wrong.

What Mark Levin basically said.

What Cruz should have said.

He does this in every six-year election cycle. And the GOP leadership always lets those running for reelection don a fig=leaf of conservative cover.

When there is massive talk and action that leads to no substantive result, you can be assured that the “base” is being appeased white business as usual is continuing.

Read this and weep for our country:

If Trump wanted this issue actually solved, he would have solved it. The Commander in Chief has all the power he needs to end the invasion, but he hasn’t used it. Instead he has repeatedly made threats he has backed down on while picking Congress-dependent and other losing battles:

He went to that homo conversion therapy and had his testicles reattached. All kidding aside, I’ll give him credit.

I can’t disagree with any of this. My only exclamation might be that he is giving me hundreds or thousands of companies that benefit from a little time to wean themselves off of it. That’s probably my only explanation. Plus he has to balance those Congress Critters and Senators who are benefiting from it selling out the US. If all of them turn against them all at once they certainly could impeach and with enough dirty judges vote to convict. So that would probably be my only explanation.

Graham: "I'm all for tariffs if it fixes immigration problems."

It's not an immigration problem, it's a "INVASION" problem...

He is two and a half years in office and what has he done to wean businesses off illegals?

A president who is afraid to offend congresscritters is no president at all.

Holding his feet to the fire is fine; but he is all we got. Cruz?

He would have sold out worse to his wife’s Goldman Sachs’ bosses and cronies.

Coulter must know something; she hasn’t complained about this in a while.

Bottom line, be mad, complain, it is justified, but know that he is our best line of defense. Do you see one better out there? Think post-Trump...who???

‘Time will tell whether he reverts afterward.”

He seems pretty consistent starting with the Kavanaugh hearings. I think he is shooting for the Turtles job when he decides to pack it in.

I agree he’s all we’ve got. Cruz would have been worse. Trump is battling on many fronts, has made many errors in staffing—starting with Javanka.

And of course he’s done some very good things re: judges, the economy, waking up to China, etc. But that is all the old rearranging of deck chairs on the Titanic if the approximately 40M illegals here presently are not expunged — and it looks like he has little intent to do that — let alone the continued flow in of more.

This was the primary, existential issue for the US above all others — and we’re getting a dance rather than difference-making action. I think Coulter does know something which is why she raised the stink to begin with — but she probably further knows her stink was further alienating her from the base that funds her lifestyle.

You are exactly correct! Only problem is that his voters aren’t near as smart to figure that out.

If it’s so bad close the border now. We don’t need Mexico’s money we need them to stop the flood.

If our President holds to these Mexico tariffs, the higher price on vegetables and fruit is going to hurt lower income people much more than high income people. So it will be hurting a lot of his base. Vegetables and fruit are essential for maintaining good health and will just increase our Medicaid and Medicare costs. He should make an exception for raw produce. Regarding companies, in 2006 I was traveling through Katrina territory. I slept at a low cost camp site in Alabama and spoke with a Mexican in Spanish. He was painting post hurricane repaired housing for an Atlanta construction firm for $4 an hour. I think the minimum wage was $5.65 then. I asked if he could get paying work in Mexico would he rather work there? Yes was his answer. Then I asked what he liked about the US. He said,”Here the police are honest.”
