Must be why companies are hiring more employees. I never saw a poor man provide anyone with a job.

Lower taxes always generates more revenue. Ask anyone alive when Reagan was president.

At first, refunds on average were down a staggering 17%...

According to the most recent statistics from the IRS, by the beginning of May, individual income tax returns on average were down 1.6% when compared to the year prior.

Interesting how they emphasize "staggering", but then totally downplay the real statistic of 1.6%. Schumer is bitching because fewer refunds means less interest-free loans from workers to money-wasting politicians. Disgusting reporting...

Lower tax rates encourage regular IRA money to be converted to Roth IRAs.

The ‘Rats are chompin’ at the bit to raise tax rates.

Makes it sound like it was really a tax hike... the truth is that it was a revenue growthe engine, like predicted.

I’d never go Roth. Why pay taxes today on money you might not be taxed on at all later?
