...means life/nature out of balance.

Great description for a nation of
streets lined with detritus, both
inert and human, while 15 year-
old girls get busted for producing
child porn of themselves.

Something is out of balance.

A nation that can land on Mars,
but is unable to protect its borders.

A legislature taking over 1/7 of the
economy by passing bills none of
them has read.

A civilization steeped in the
scientific method, only too
eager to denounce the same
when it touches up against
personal beliefs.

Something is way out of balance.

“Its what the socialist want.....destroy America.”

Absolutely, we are in the way of the NWO and the socialists being on top of the money ladder while the rest live in squaler.

Is this some of that high culture that the people in the cities claim they have?

No more free government dollars handed out by Democrat politicians.

There are plenty of places that need to be cleaned up.

Another Democrat-run city. It’s what they want to do to America folks! The Democrat version of MAGA. Make America Go Away!

“No more free government dollars handed out by Democrat politicians.”

Like that will ever happen. Buying votes is as old as the hills.

So sad. LA was once a lovely city.

I worked downtown in the ‘70s at First Western Bank, where I was the editor of bank magazine. (They had branches all over the state.) Once a month, while putting the magazine to bed, I stayed late, as late as 10:00 p.m. Walked to the bus, which fortunately deposited me two blocks from my home in Santa Monica. LA and SM streets were clean and I never felt threatened.

Parts of downtown LA, even then, had mostly little shops run by Mexicans. But Mexicans with jobs and good manners.

Now, as you can see, I wouldn’t last a minute on those streets, and that beautiful beach is so dangerous you need a pair of Doberman Pincers to go there.

California is gone. There will be no nostalgia trips.

Oh.....you live in California.

You are used to this kind of behavior.

Great climate, though.

Mayor Eric Garcetti is NOT the man for the job.

If he was it would NEVER have gotten to this point in the first place.

He has been L.A.'s DEMOCRAT mayor since 2013.

We bought a house in North Idaho and are splitting our time between the two locations. My wife and I cannot stand CA any more for all the obvious reasons. But the climate, vistas and natural beauty remain unchanged.

Nah...they always blame Republicans. We didn't spend enough. We ignored the needs of these people. We are selfish and uncaring. We only care about profit. All the usual canards.

Climb these hills
I’m reaching for the heights
And chasing all the lights that shine
And when they let you down
You’ll get up off the ground
‘Cause morning rolls around
And it’s another day of sun

I hear ‘em ev’ry day
The rhythms in the canyons
That’ll never fade away
The ballads in the barrooms
Left by those who came before
They say “you gotta want it more”
So I bang on ev’ry door
