FULL TITLE: Rats at the police station, filth on L.A. streets scenes from the collapse of a city thats lost control
The good news is that two trash-strewn downtown Los Angeles streets I wrote about last week were cleaned up by city work crews and have been kept that way, as of this writing.
The bad news is that I didnt have to travel far to find more streets just as badly fouled by filthy mounds of junk and stinking, rotting food.
Then there was the news that the LAPD station on skid row was cited by the state for a rodent infestation and other unsanitary conditions, and that one employee there was infected with the strain of bacteria that causes typhoid fever.
What century is this?
Is it the 21st century in the largest city of a state that ranks among the worlds most robust economies, or did someone turn back the calendar a few hundred years?
Weve got thousands of people huddled on the streets, many of them withering away with physical and mental disease. Sidewalks have disappeared, hidden by tents and the kinds of makeshift shanties you see in Third World places. Typhoid and typhus are in the news, and an army of rodents is on the move.

Western Civilization was SO overrated. "Hey, Hey, Ho, Ho, Western Civ has to go" -- student protest chant started by Jesse Jackson at Stanford University in the 80's. The idea was to throw out the university's required courses on Western Culture because they were filled with "European and Western male bias" and replace them with courses that teach non-Western cultures and "works by women, minorities, and persons of color." Jackson was successful - today almost all colleges and universities stress A.C.B.W. (Any Culture But Western) courses and ignore the classic teachings of Western civilization's "white men." Looking back now, over two decades later, we can see the results of Jackson's efforts. How do you like the results on display in Los Angeles?

This story is not surprising. What is surprising is that it comes from the LA Times.

But the libs are all up in arms over how we should help the illegals and take care of all of their sick and poor. They want to spend billions of US $ on them building them shelters with playgrounds and schools. Zero compassion for the homeless in America.

” They want to spend billions”
DG, have news for you. They HAVE SPENT untold billions and are planning on spending billions and billions more. Every road in all of California is crumbling to pieces because of those payments. That and pouring $10 BILLION down the rathole to build some train trestles in the Central Valley that will never be used.

And if the liberals successfully eliminate the Electoral College, cities like Los Angelas and San Francisco will dictate policy for the rest of the "fly over" country nationwide.

Ir’s like scenes from the Apocalypse. Shocking tht it is here in America and we did it to ourselves . . . at least the liberal dims did it. We need so many more pictures like these to be taken all over our ruined cities like San Francisco, L.A., Seattle, etc. and post them all over social media, print media, etc.

I’m laughing about their plight. Good men ought to know what to do without being told.

In the Latimes.com Feb 8, 2019 Announcing a resolution that declares Los Angeles to be a City of Sanctuary, protecting the human rights of all our residents.
Any relationship between these stories?
