The College [Diversity] Bureaucracy That Never Shrinks

...

[C]ollege tuition is not an act of God, beyond human control. It is a result of decisions taken by colleges themselves—above all, decisions to bulk up their bureaucracies. Bureaucratic outlays rose at nearly twice the rate as teaching outlays from 1993 to 2007, according to the Goldwater Institute. From 1997 to 2012, colleges hired new administrators at twice the rate of any student-body increase, the New England Center for Investigative Reporting found. Colleges inevitably claim that government mandates force this administrative bloat upon them. But the vast majority of administrative hires are voluntary: for every dollar in mandated bureaucratic spending from 1987 to 2011, public universities added an additional $2 in discretionary bureaucracy, and private universities added $3, according to economists Robert Martin and Carter Hill. Fiefdoms focused on diversity and student services grew at the fastest clip, in the name of fighting the campus oppression to which minority and female students are allegedly subjected.

Last month, Georgetown University provided a striking example of such unforced diversity accretion. President John DeGioia proudly announced a new diversity position: Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. No government mandate required this new vice presidency. Instead, it was an expressive choice that, in DeGioia’s words, would demonstrate Georgetown’s commitment to “racial justice” and “educational equity.”

Naturally, the inaugural VP of DEI will be backed up by a new Associate VP of DEI. Support staffs of equity-research specialists are likely on the way.

Such self-initiated diversity expansions are by now routine. Two days ago, the University of Rochester announced the creation of a new Vice President for Equity and Inclusion.

There is a reason for all of this. Exactly what is an Identity Politics graduate with a major in diversity studies going to do for a job, especially a high paying job ?

Exactly!

We are seeing the end results of 30 years of infiltration of these grads in the corporate, academic and political fields and they are staring to take over some pretty powerful and senior positions that control policy and allocation of funds and assets. They are totalitarians who fundamentally view the world from an acquisition and use ( abuse) of power perspective and they only hire like minded individuals with similar education backgrounds .

We are screwed,

It is a result of decisions taken by colleges themselves

This isn't something colleges did unilaterally. In the 70s and 80s it became the policy of the US Gov't that everybody should go to college. The college loan business was taken away from banks and given to quasi-public institutions like Sallie Mae. Students were encouraged to take on huge debt and lied to that they would earn more than enough with their new degrees to pay the loans back. The bankruptcy law were re-written to prevent most student debt from being discharged. Colleges were essentially given a guaranteed income stream. All they did was not say no.

...Diversity is an anti-religion, and anti-ideology, a nepotism which promotes everything except one's own family.

Diversity therefore equals the destruction of any and all religions and of all positive ideologies.

Because Diversity can only be destructive: whatever IS is insufficiently or inexactly diverse.

Whatever IS must therefore be destroyed in order to make it MORE Diverse.

And there is no conceivable or measurable end to it. Yesterday's Diversity is today's intolerable lack of Diversity.

Diversity is the destruction of Good; and it is the destruction of all types of Good - however defined. All are chewed up and spat out by Diversity.

Diversity is the promotion of chaos by the destruction of Good; and then there-naming of chaos as Good.

“Diversity and inclusion” actually means White Christian Males are demonized, slated for elimination, and their money stolen by what are called “taxes.”
