Cry, the rapidly crumbling country
Stand Point ^ | 30/05/2019 | R. W. Johnson

outh Africa’s parliamentary elections on May 8 were the sixth since democracy was introduced in 1994. They were held in an atmosphere of unparalleled national crisis almost entirely self-inflicted by the ruling African National Congress. Unemployment, 3.7 million when the ANC took over, is nearly ten million now. Poverty and inequality have grown exponentially while the governing elite loots and steals all it can. The country is now in its fifth consecutive year of falling real incomes, the chronic power cuts—suspended artificially for the election—are expected to last at least another five years, two out of the three rating agencies have consigned South Africa to junk status, the crime rate is horrendous—57 murders a day—and the police are corrupt and wholly ineffectual. Corruption is omnipresent and most national institutions have been undermined by it. Economic growth has slowed to 1 per cent a year or less. It was hardly a surprise when Eunomix Business and Economics, a political risk advisory company, found that on a range of various indicators South Africa had declined more in the last 12 years (its rating falling from 31st out of 178 countries in 2006 to 88th in 2018) than any other country not at war.

The ANC has ruled since 1994 largely because of black voters’ sense of racial solidarity, but after nine nightmarish years under the corrupt and institution-destroying rule of Jacob Zuma great faith was also placed in the would-be reforming new president Cyril Ramaphosa.

This is an excellent article.

The article is long and the subject is depressing but people should understand what is going on.

This could happen in the U.S. if we do not stay strong and vigilant.

On right you see Joe Slovo, Jewish Lithuanian immigrant to South Africa. He moved Heaven and Earth to usher in communism there.

I also thought it was the USA they were writing of. Most days I think we are a dead man walking.

Any white folks left in SA better get out.

I don’t care how long their families have been there, nor their position. It does not matter how well armed and cohesive they are.

When it fully collapses there will be wholesale slaughter in the streets. And white people will be the principal target.

They are stripping Whites of their property and not protecting their lives. Never forget that bammy went there and encouraged them to do just that.

This is one of the biggest results when you allow mass immigration of uneducated, lazy, illiterate people from other countries, into yours, grant them citizenship, so they can take advantage of your laws. And having those immigrants coming from other countries in Africa, you can only imagine how low that bar is.

I work with South African’s. Most of them, pretty good guys. Some of them have very, very high opinions of themselves. But many grew up during apartheid, where they were the Master Race in SA. They have seen their country swirl the bowl, while the country’s politicians and cronies rob it blind.

Many think Mandela was imprisoned b/c of his politics. According to these guys, he was a terrorist who was responsible for bombings and murders. Imprisoned for killing folks but under international pressure, de Klerk releases him and all hell breaks loose. No different than when Carter got rid of the Shah and allowed the Ayatollah’s to usher in and spread the religion of peace throughout the world.

Interestingly, though, from talking to many of them, there is a growing number of folks in SA that long for the days of apartheid, compared to what they have now. Before there was more stability and safety. Now, it is pretty much a lawless country.

This is exactly the case! Of course no one wanted to hear that.

More stability and safety and everyone had jobs. They may not have been “white collar” jobs but it but they kept food on the table and many of the skilled independents, mechanics and such were not the Ruling Whites.

If the American media were worth 2 cents, they would report on this. But if they did, it would become obvious that the problems are self-inflicted.

Or they would blame the Whiteys who are being raped and killed, and whose property is being seized.

Ultimately this is where racial pandering to get people’s votes will lead you.

This was interesting, but it seems to have been written in slightly hyperbolic way — but then again, problems in S. Africa may justify hyperbolic language like “the trains have stopped working” and “sewage flows in the streets.”

I have never been there, but have met more than a few white refugees from that place.

Yes, if the Democrats are successful in keeping the border open and they change the demographics of the US so they are in power indefinitely, this could easily become our future.

I have no love for China, but the societies of Japan, China, Korea have been around long before America existed, and I am very sure they will be around long after America's elites have turned the USA into a 3rd world shithole

de Klerk releases him and all hell breaks loose.

The S. African government at the time saw how the US and British aggressively forced the white Rhodesians to hand power too Mugabe a mere 10 years before. They were under great global economic and social pressure to do the same. Remember how Hollywood made South Africans the villains in many movies of the late 80s?

Given the collapse of the Soviet Union, which was a miracle for peace in the entire 3rd world, the White S. Africans saw a window to perhaps have a chance to give up power, as was being forced by the USA, while hopefully not be plunged into civil war by a Soviet-sponsored movement.

Add SEA to the mix. These countries have basically homogeneous populations, orderly, industrious and family-oriented. They will continue to prosper for all the reasons the USA won’t.
