Voters in Switzerland have backed a tightening of gun laws to conform with European Union regulations.

Almost 64% of voters in Sunday's referendum supported tougher restrictions on semi-automatic and automatic weapons, final results show.

The EU had urged the country to tighten its laws in line with rules adopted by the bloc following the 2015 Paris terror attacks.

The rules called for:

The EU hoped the rules would help to protect people across Europe, and prevent a repeat of the 2015 attacks.

As if the guns from Switzerland were needed for all the terror attacks in France. But 64% went for it.

Swiss aren’t what they used to be. Now they’re more “European”.

Buy stock in Remington Outdoor Company.

They own Marlin.

And the Marlin 336 is he most popular “assault weapon” in Europe. By far.

It’s still classified as a hunting rifle.

It’s a repeater with a 7 round magazine that can be refreshed before it’s empty, unlike the Winchester Model 94.

Fire 3, add 3 to the magazine etc.

It is far more effective than most realize.

Our Founders held Switzerland in high regard. That was then. Now, they would hold them in contempt for willingly taking the road to slavery.

Sadly Remington is one of the worst run companies in the country.

God gave every person the individual and inalienable right to self defense, including armed self defense. Thank God He also gave the United States great early leaders who protected that most vital of all rights with the Second Amendment.

Do these people ever learn?

If they're like Americans, they were likely never taught. Ask a school kid or college student today who George Patton was, or Operation Market Garden, or even who the Allied Supreme Commander for the ETO. They won't know.

They aren't taught the lessons of history that might slow down the leftist fascist's conquest of Western Civilization.

100% CORRECT.

The LEFTIST MORONS would happily strip every free citizen of the Natural Right to SELF-DEFENSE, as there NO 2nd Amendment & the several decisions of the SCOTUS that explain those RIGHTS.

IF anyone reading this hasn’t read the MILLER decision, I would encourage them to do so. = MILLER explains plainly:
1. WHO the MILITIA is,
2. WHAT your responsibility is as member of “the common militia”,
3. WHAT weapons are “militia weapons”
AND
4. What weapons are NOT MILITIA weapons (& therefore are “NOT protected” by The US Constitution.- Such NON-militia weapons are called, “criminal instrumentalities” in MILLER.)

Note: A person need NOT be a “lawyer” to fully read/understand MILLER, btw.

Yours, TMN78247

Hitler didn’t dare fool with Switzerland, because they were all armed. It’s sad to see this once great country destroy itself. As for me and my house, molon labe.

Hitler didn’t need to invade... the Swiss were playing both sides. Without the Swiss railways the Germans couldn’t have fought in Italy. And iF the Swiss hadn’t granted them passage, the Germans WOULD have invaded — as difficult as that would have been.
