Gavin Nuisance has Butt Hurt today!

CA Governor had pulled the project already so this wasn’t unexpected. This was pure pork from the get go.
To: Navy Patriot
Actually, he acted to stop California from “smacking” the rest of the country.

Gavvy did “pull” the project, but he quickly backpedaled and is now saying that he’s going to sue the feds for the money.

That bullet train boondoggle has been in the works since the 90’s! Good for President Trump. And good for us.

A single $ spent on the so called Bullet Train is fraud.
929 million $’s rounded off to 1 billion is truly fraud.

Good.
And by the time California takes this to court, there should be quite a few more Trump-appointed judges to rule that federal funds can only be extended when a state or local government is capable of completing their side of the written agreement.
Federal money is not "free" as much as many politicians might wish that were the case. Strings are always attached.
Serves 'em right for pulling such a fraud on the voters to begin with.

But how will the people of Bakersfield get to Merced without this train?

What I understand is that he squealed because Trump is not giving him the money despite the cancellation.

NO, PDJT has not “smacked” California... Rather, PDJT has done California a great favor to at least stop a billion dollars of our tax money being poured down and wasted on this giant sewer of a stupid, unworkable, and unneeded project
(note that Senator Feinstein’s husband was all set up to make a TON of taxpayers’ $$$$$$ off this ridiculous boondoggle...

The California Governor's office has repeatedly stated that they don't need the Federal government's help; that California can build its own rockets and satellites and can do just fine on its own.
President Trump listened, and agreed. What, California can build rockets and other tech but can't build a train? Governor biting the hand that feeds him.

Great move by Trump. I could hear the slap all the way to Marylsnd where I live.

“929 million $s rounded off to 1 billion is truly fraud.”
The media is doing the rounding and not the government so it isn’t really fraud but it is still dishonest.
