I think its sedition, rather than treason.
Doesn’t the fact that there were foreign powers involved (UK and Italy) make it more Treason than Sedition?
I admit it is obscure to me, but that is why I frequent FR...:)
The revealed money trail, in Mid East, and especially Chinese connection (Twitter CEO, Facebook CEOs, Google, Apple, CIA Snowden, Feinstein, Biden, Schumer, etc) and the Nth Korean connection (Google CEO, Pelosi) makes it more than seditious. Our guy, the Ambassador-wanna-be-spy Alexander Downer met George Papa... BUT ALSO was appointed to the Huawei Board (in China)(say what?) in 2012 on or about the period the Aussies were donating 25million to the Clinton Fdn. Lasted 2 years then resigned. (maybe he was a spy after all)
They conspired with foreign nations to take out a duly elected president. That is treason.
+1. Word mean things.
I agree. Treason is an overused word. This was/is sedition.
It crossed the line into treason the moment the first agent of a foreign government was brought into the mix.
Call it a coup which by any other name is treason.
And I believe it IS treason.
” think its sedition, rather than treason.”
It is treason as they were working with foreign nations.
“I think its sedition, rather than treason.”
Typically, we’d all agree but President Trump knows something. My guess is that these illegal operations were conducted in league with other nations.
So, this would very well fall in line under treason.
Let’s wait and see. :)
>>I think its sedition, rather than treason.<<
Maybe it is, but at least we’re finally getting somewhere.
When it comes push-to-shove, it'll be Trump-and-all-things-MAGA against all the rest of 'em. We'll need more on our side, so pray, persuade, red-pill, enlist and pray some more.
Yup
I suspect Trump is right, as usual. He probably knows things that aren't in the public domain yet. The players were probably not only trying to eliminate Trump, but were also giving aid and comfort to the "enemies" of the United States ... such as delivering pallets of cash to Iran for who knows what wicked purpose. Did they try to have a rogue state missile take out Air Force 1?
US Code re Treason: "Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason ..."
On the other hand, sedition seems to require conspiracy and force or forceful intent, so such a charge would be just as damning.
US Code re Seditious Conspiracy: "If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined ... or imprisoned ..."
