If I’m reading this correctly, it sounds like much of the behavior was kids teasing her just to get a reaction.
This topic was brought up because of the play they were putting on, not because someone admires Nazis.
I don’t get why her father would make an online appeal to get ‘support’ for his daughter. That’s what you the parent are for. No need to make an even bigger deal of it by running to Facebook, publicizing everything.

I always remember the story a Freeper told some years back of a kid in (IIRC) the Dallas Fort Worth area who presented the above book to his junior high school class as his book report assignment. The teacher was not amused and this kid was summoned to the principal's office for such a discussion and his parents were notified about this as well.Isn’t the real issue that grade school children are doing a play about Hitler? The guise of this being historical does not justify such a horrific topic at that age. Intentionally or not, the play clearly has succeeded in turning some kids into little nazis.
How about the history of our country? But probably the curriculum recommends the French revolution over the American. When I was 8, our class was memorizing the Dec. of Independence.
