Well, it’s better than the aging career RINO fat dudes they’ve been running.

Exactly.
Old white guys are not the future of America.
Period.
Period.
Freshen up, GOP.
This is why the post-Trump GOP needs to weed out McConnell, McCarthy, Scalise and all the old white guys.

Democrats scoff that GOP efforts will flop because Americans care less about candidates attributes than about issues like buttressing health care and wages.Actually, the Democrats quoted here are right. People are more likely to respect a candidate, at least at the congressional district level, who builds their own organization versus one foisted on them by the party bosses because they check one or more diversity boxes.

Trump is soooooo inclusive. Favoring one group over another is not in his repertoire.
I'd cast this as fake news.

My idiot GOP Rep. Dana Rohrabacher managed to lose by taking the position that home sellers should be able to refuse selling to gays.
I know, I know that would be fine on FR but this in 2019 and we hae had civil rights, and fair housing laws dating to the 1860s.
Needless to say his long time support by the Realtor association, went away.
We don’t need women and minorities. But we do need common sense. The dem that won, pretended to be ex-Republican, middle-of-the-road businessman. Now after a few months in office, he isjust another dem-socialist radical. He could be defeated.

Yeah, who needs white men anyway? It’s not like they created this country in the first place.
They should just shut up and hand over the keys.

I don’t know about that; it is probably that the Congress cannot be all white.

To be fair, of late I’ve been seeing that Republican women and minorities in certain states are more constitutionalist than the GOPe old white guys in the primaries.

It does, however, remove the sexist/racist cards from the Democrat arsenal in that race.

Pandering to the left for GOP candidates?
When has that worked for us?
Oh, yeah. I forgot. Since all the “retirements” pre-midterms, the GOPe Uniparty needs reinforcements.

At best, it blunts it a little. Qualified conservative women and minorities get an extra dose of hate for wandering off the plantation. They have to be stronger than their white male counterparts in most cases to put up with the extra $#*+ thrown at them.
Remember the hearings on Judge Thomas? The Kavanaugh hearings were a walk in the park by comparison, nasty as they were.

Not a racist/sexist. So any color or gender will do just fine. As long as they are rock ribbed conservatives.
