Pete Buttigieg sought to diffuse weeks of fraught questions about white privilege and his struggles attracting minorities to his campaign by calling out fellow Democrats on Saturday for playing identity politics and pitting one groups grievances against anothers.
In a risky speech to the Human Rights Campaign, a major LGBT rights group, Buttigieg warned of a crisis of belonging in this country, arguing it was exacerbated by so-called identity politics that emphasize how one person hasnt walked in anothers shoes something that is true, but it doesnt get us very far.

Look at who’s talking!
All he is, is a walking, talking collection of Bumpersticker slogans and high pitched dogwhistles.

Hugh Hewitt coined that term for Powder Puff Pete, before Trump did.

Accuse your opponents of what you are doing does not work all that well when your "opponents" are on your own team.

He’s trying his hand at having a mini “Sista Soulja Moment”. It won’t work. He is peaking about a year and a half too early.

If I were MAD Magazine, I’d be real annoyed with President Trump. Comparing Alfred E. Neuman to Pete Buttplug is the ultimate insult, if you ask me.

Whoever thought of it first, it was laughably accurate. See post #2.
The big difference is that Alfred E. Newman understood the difference between an entrance and an exit.

I guess that's more radio-friendly than Prep Pill Pete.

Some pollster did a poll on black support for different democrats - Biden got the most black democrat support. Pete Buttigieg’s support among blacks was (wait for it) 0% - yep, ZERO percent... rounded down - less than one half of one percent...

Not surprised. Buttman might do half decent in NH and IA but he will crash and burn south of the Mason-Dixon where African-Americans dominate the Democratic primary votes.
