this problem has been obvious for a very long time (some kids abused in foster care or being put back by courts with abusive/neglectful parent(s), many social workers not really doing a thorough jub and following” system instead of doing what is right or best in some situations). I don’t think the govt should be overseeing this, it should be good and decent God-fearing churches having systems of helping families and kids. God has the best answers for these sorts of situations (and everything else).

Either that’s a lie or they ain’t doing it right. Florida’s #1 source of revenue is tourism. #2 is the justice and incarceration system. Fedgov pays states pretty good money for each person they have incarcerated. Florida ends up making a profit from it, plus add in all the fines and traffic citations,($3-400 speeding tickets) and it becomes pretty lucrative.

According to Stefano, the social workers working in child protection services across the country do not have the training to truly investigate child abuse, because child abuse is a crime. Stefano encourages [calling] law enforcement, not CPS, if they encounter sexual or physical abuse of a child, because this is a crime, and CPS is not trained to handle crimes. Stefano says: "The minute you call child protection services, you can rest assured that the investigation will not be done properly. Chances are the child will not be protected."

This is a game-changing insight. Hope many will propagate this idea.
