Former Vice President Joe Biden is officially in the 2020 White House race and is already a frontrunner thanks to his undeniable name recognition. Justice Democrats, a group associated with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and who many credit with helping launch her political career, is among the grassroots progressives hoping to curb his momentum.
Justice Democrats announce they'll oppose Joe Biden's candidacy. Only in the primary though.

Justice Democrats Executive Director Alexandra Rojas is frustrated that Biden stands "in near complete opposition" to issues that matter most to progressives, like Medicare for All, the Green New Deal, which was introduced by Ocasio-Cortez, and free college tuition.
His centrist views aren't the group's only complaints. They aired a few others.
Why are @justicedems formally opposing @JoeBiden?
They have a list. And it would not be unreasonable to add:
* NAFTA
* Fast-Track Trade Authority
* Permanent Normal Trade Relations with China
* Gutting Glass-Steagall
* Patriot Act
* More Fast-Track Authority and
* Anita Hill... pic.twitter.com/7hPkTNYr1g— John Nichols (@NicholsUprising) April 25, 2019
In regards to that last item, Biden has been criticized by Democrats for failing to give Anita Hill a proper hearing during then-Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas's confirmation hearings in 1991. She claimed Thomas had sexually harassed her, but Republicans questioned her story. Biden regrets that he didn't do more to silence his colleagues. Hill confirmed on Thursday that Biden reached out to her earlier this month to share those regrets, but she "cannot be satisfied" until there is "real change."
Biden will not excite the crazy left, and that in many ways makes him the best foil for DJT.
So, it has come to this...
Whatever the issue, or whoever the candidate, democrats will have to run it by AOC first.
She’s the undisputed leader of the democrats, and their kingmaker. Next, she’s going to list the democrats’ presidential candidate in order of her preference, and no doubt that Biden won’t even make the list of her top 20.
They took years to create their Frankenstein's monster, if not the bucktoothed bolshevik, then it would be someone else. Now they act surprised that it has turned on their creator (small c).
Old geezer. Who dis?

Smells of Festivus. Quite appropriate actually considering its Gropy Joe were talking about. As fake as Festivus.

This is one particularly incriminating excerpt from that website:
Bidens role in the firing of Ukraine Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin in 2016 could prove to be a major issue for the former vice president.
Last year, during a Council on Foreign Relations event, Biden told the audience that he pressed President Petro Poroshenko to fire Shokin, including threatening to withdraw a $1 billion U.S. loan from Ukraine, which had been economically decimated due to its war with Russian forces since 2014.
“I said, ‘Youre not getting the billion.’ Im going to be leaving here in, I think it was about six hours. I looked at them and said: ‘Im leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, youre not getting the money,’ “ Biden said he told Poroshenko.
“Well, son of a b-, he got fired. And they put in place someone who was solid at the time,” Biden added.
Shokin had been working on a corruption probe that implicated the natural gas firm Burisma Holdings, a company that employed Hunter Biden, as a board member, The Hill reported.
Shokin told The Hill that he had made “specific plans” for the probe, including “interrogations and other crime-investigation procedures into all members of the executive board, including Hunter Biden.”
The investigation ended shortly after Shokin was fired, and no charges were filed against any individuals of the company.
good one!
I really can’t see the rank and file union guys voting for this chump. The leadership... OF COURSE, but not the average Joe on the street.
The exception, of course, are the public unions. Teachers especially, but Trump and the SCOTUs has defanged them.
In short, Biden, is running a campaign on hate and fear...esp with the blacks. He’s going to trudge out the tired old play book.
No wonder, that he didn’t come out live, to announce.
Trump came down an escalator... went before the cameras, and took it.
This guy, sends out a video, just after midnight. No press, no questions, no policies... nothing.
“The old guard of the Den party failed to stop Trump”.....
music to my ears, that will play well!!!!
Biden’s just gonna keep Sanders company when, “The big Bern - the Sequel” goes into effect next year.
Lol!
Biden weaponized his government position to protect his son---to get the lead prosecutor fired -- and bragged about it.
Biden caught on tape (apparently in cahoots with Obama): "We're not going to give you the billion dollars," he said. "They said, 'You have no authority. You're not the president.' I said, 'Call him (indicating Obama was in on the shakedown).' 'I'm telling you, you're not getting a billion dollars.' I said, I will be leaving here in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you're not getting the money.' Well, son of a b---h got fired."
