Actually it might be a good idea. It gives us an opportunity to have Trump appear in a series of prime time debates where he gets to ridicule and crush all of the RINO idiots who claim they are going to run against him. People like Bill Weld, whose last "success" was losing as the Libertarian Party vice presidential candidate. For those who don't know that's the guy who holds the beer (or joint), carries the luggage, and drives the car for the Libertarian presidential candidate.

It could even be entertaining if some of the higher profile RINOs decide to step into the race so Trump can make fools of them in front of a national audience.

Not surprised. Even Carter, whose campaign labored under the burden of the Embassy hostage crisis, as well as a recession accompanied by 18% inflation, managed to stomp Ted despite the Kennedy name. Trump isn’t in the midst of anything remotely like the Embassy crisis, and the economy is doing well.
