If his tax returns tell the story accurately, former Rep. Beto ORourke, D-Texas, is a skinflint.
In 2017, he and his wife claimed a total income of $370,412, according to the 10 years worth of tax returns they released this week. That same year, which is the most recent filing available, the ORourkes reported only $1,166 in charitable deductions. The former congressman and 2020 presidential candidate gave one-third of 1% of his total income to charity. In simpler terms, ORourke is a big time cheapskate.
He does not see it that way, though. You see, running for office is itself kind of like making a charitable contribution, ORourke said this week.
(snip)
He added, But Ill tell you that Im doing everything I can right now, spending this time with you, not with our kiddos, not back home in El Paso, because I want to sacrifice everything to make sure that we meet this moment of truth with everything weve got.

Tell him to eat dirt.
“The former congressman and 2020 presidential candidate gave one-third of 1% of his total income to charity.”
Well, that’s very disappointing.
I already pay 50% of my income to the state at all levels.
I think there’s 225 of them running now. This guy has got to be up there in the sh*t-for-brains department.
Oh, brother, isn’t Irish Bob full of himself!
Everyone is supposed to believe we are sooo lucky to have him around?
Little bammy had the same problem.
Perhaps we should call him little veto...
.
Oh wow, and arent we just so grateful for his charity! Hes giving us... HIM! praise the donation!

Father-in-law is a billionaire.
That is true. He blessed the world with himself. //Sarc//
Narcissist much?
That ranks right up there with Obama’s claim to executive experience (2007-2008) as being his running his own presidential campaign.
The Great Gullible will buy just about anything.
I have 1/4 of the income of Whitey O’Rourke and still manage to do more charitable giving than he does.
He didn’t post a picture of himself hanging on a cross did he?
Beto... How about you ES&D....
