Hours after a massive fire engulfed the historic Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris on Monday, a city official said the structure of the building had been saved.
The fire at the cathedral caused the roof to collapse, destroyed a spire and spread to one of the building's two rectangular towers. The sight brought many onlookers to tears...
...TThe spire destroyed by the fire contained artifacts considered sacred to Catholics, including a relic believed to be from Jesus Christ's crown of thorns. Relics from Saint Genevieve and Saint Denis are also feared lost.
Michel Picaud, from the Friends of Notre Dame organization responsible for the renovation efforts at the cathedral, told NBC News that, to his knowledge, the church's organ and stained glass windows were not damaged.
"The entire roof is fully destroyed," Picaud said. "The fire started up near the roof top while another fire started in the north bell tower."

Two fires started in two different places within the structure? How could that be an accident?!
Yeah, two fires at the same time!
Whatta coinkydink!
How about, "Hehehe, an infidel church burns! Allah be praised!"
"Where's the uvalating fat lady with our candy!?"
The relics were saved? I heard there was a piece of the cross in there. How dry was that? I am sure that didnt burn like a toothpick.
So the French lost a famous church? They were losing their country long before it was torched.
Wait...there were TWO fires? That changes the narrative.
It was an accident. Like Vince Foster accidentally shooting himself twice in the back of the head.
Its just completely gone. You cant bring It back to what it before. Thats as impossible as reviving a dead man.
The prosecutor’s ruled out arson. Said it was probably workers using torches. Can’t say they don’t have a sense of humor about it all.
They should have just let it burn baby burn and erected a mosque in its place.
They’ll be telling us the second fire in the bell tower was due to a “floating ember” that drifted there from the initial fire in the roof area in 3.. 2.. 1..
Just read an article that stated Christ’s CROWN OF THORNS was probably lost in the fire. THAT SHOULD’VE BEEN THE VERY FIRST ITEM RETRIEVED!!!
Im surprised the shell is still standing.
I heard that the crown of thorns and other artifacts were saved. We’ll just have to wait until some definitive answers start coming out versus lots of rumors and hearsay.
He is going to make something beautiful and good come from this as the French people work to rebuild.
Saw THAT right away ...
It could happen, as the features of this landmark become famous in the news, if God moves the people to ask what inspired the construction of such a landmark. Because it’s ultimately not even about a church denomination as it is about the Father, Son, and Spirit.
St. Michael the Archangel
~ PRAYER ~
St. Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle
Be our protection against the wickedness
and snares of the devil;
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host,
by the power of God,
Cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits
who prowl through the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen

Jesus doesn’t need it anymore.
I’m just guessing, but if you look at the early wind direction, it was towards the bell towers. So maybe embers?
I am still digesting that leaded glass, joined with leaded joints, survived.
If that’s not the Hand of The Almighty at work for the whole world to witness and fall to their knees in astonishment, I don’t know what is.
