AMAZON is listening to customers through Alexa devices - with employees recording thousands of clips including a woman singing in the shower and a sex assault, it emerged last night.
Full-time workers and contractors at the online retail giant reportedly sift through as many as 1,000 recordings per shift - and even share "amusing" clips between themselves.

Letting microphones into your house from an unregulated, unaccountable corporation.
What could possibly go wrong?
You could not pay me to have this , or any other Amazon product , in my house .
ZERO $ to Amazon . 100% total boycott of anything and everything Amazon . Screw them
I’m with you!
Same thing goes with those “Smart TVs”.

I think my wife’s I-phone listens to us talking. Once when we were walking we discussed that it might be nice to have some wine. She was carrying her phone. We drink wine about 3 times per year. Talk show host Mike Gallagher recently said he and his son were talking in the presence of Alexa about My Pillow, as I recall. Next thing you know, his son got ads for My Pillow on the phone.
I was listening to Rush Limbaugh on my iPhone. Rush said Hey Siri and Siri on my phone woke up.
When George Orwell wrote 1984 he assumed that the government would force listening devices on a populace unable to resist.
He couldn’t imagine people paying for the privilege of placing listening devices in their own homes, and Big Brother turning out to be private corporations.
Android is also listening. Your smart tv with a camera is doing so too.
