Either this reparations program is a weakly disguised redistribution plan, or it is an attempt at forcing whites into being a permanently disadvantaged and highly taxed class. Jizya for being white.

I’m gonna tell you, I really believe behind the scenes these Dem politicians everywhere have been talking this up for a while like it could happen. A month ago I was at a city hall where people get a business license. I over hear in the next room (had 5 people all black in it). A guy was talking about after they get reparations and something else they need to quit there energy in race issues and focus on other things to better the community. Their heart is in it that they believe they will get it.

The article, quite frankly, is pretty meaningless. They don’t say anything about what is in his bill or how Booker believes these reparations would work. I know its a seriously flawed concept to begin with, and worth fighting on principle alone, but at least try to explain what he wants to do. Otherwise its just PR for him for essentially grandstanding.

Honestly, I don’t think even he is serious. I think the real problem is that they are in a bubble where they actually think this will go over positively.
Anybody ever see the movie, “FAME”? One of the art students is a budding comedian. So, after taking lots of comedy classes he goes to a comedy club and does his routine in front of all his classmates. It’s a HUGE hit.
Then, later, he performs in front of a crowd that doesn’t know him. He utterly bombs.
This sort of talk by Booker, et al plays great to the other kids, but in the real world, not so much .
I wouldn’t worry about it. But, just in case, I’d buy more ammo, because if it DID get legs, you’d certainly need it. And that’s the thing. Everybody knows that to be the case. It’s a distraction.
