San Antonio is actually doing a public service here. Because they are showing us what most of America will be like 20 years from now.

Politically incorrect actions = hateful actions = punishment

No problem, I have no plans to move there anyway.

But this is ridiculous.

How can a city gov. control your charitable contributions?

“...San Antonio Councilman Roberto Trevino...”

Sounds like this Trevino a-hole needs to be put on the unemployment line.

Probably a couple of others on City Council.

Texans... Giddyup and remove them.

I’m sure that the Chick-Fil-A Foundation is not controlled by the CEO of Chick-Fil-A Restaurant, they likely have a separate Board of Directors and direct their donations without interference from the leadership of the owners. That’s what you do when you have a non-profit foundation sponsored by a for profit company.

The Sunday closure in an airport could be a problem. People waiting for an airplane need to eat and may need to do it in the airport, including on Sundays. Of court, the airport authorities should have known that Chick-Filet-A have a policy about operating on Sundays. On balance, I would thinking that the flying public would like to see Chick-Filet-A on Mon-Sat at the airport and would settle for a brat and a beer on Sundays.

This guy is just a Godless Communist and he is illegally discriminating against this company.

I was not impressed with San Antonio IA the two times I flew in and out, and I have no plans of ever going back there. It was disgusting and the people at the airport were rude. WORST airport experiences ever.

Maybe they deserve that councilman.

Went through DFW last week. Walked past a lot of restaurants doing the normal amount of business. Tried to get a frosted lemonade at Chick-Fil-A but could not wait that long. Their line went down the hall and was actually blocking foot traffic. Maybe that is the real reason San Antonio banned them; unfair to other businesses.

Note to Trump: Take away any Fed funds to the San Antonio airport due to religious discrimination, which UNLIKE the LBGT agenda is in the Constitution.

First they came for Southern heritage monuments and memorials then they came for the Alamo

And Jefferson and Washington and Custer and even Lincoln

Like I warned gleeful south bashers here two decades ago

And now Chil Fil A and the Salvation Army

Total destruction of WHITE CHRISTIAN CULTURE is their aim

That some freepers applauded this is nauseating

I’d be thrilled to see a few airlines and a bunch of businesses boycott the SA airport-offensive and outrageous behavior like this by city officials should have financially and legally disastrous consequences to smack this behavior down hard.

I first lived in SA because I was going to college there-fresh from the ranch, I thought it was pretty nice and later lived in the burbs near there when hubby was in the military, to be close to work,etc-

The city of SA is so bad now that tourists from Mexico who come to stay at the guest ranches here don’t have any kind words for the airport there-bathrooms barely clean, rude people, luggage hassles, etc-so they just land at the airport, run to rent a vehicle and drive North to get to the hill country to stay and do stuff-I hope that ridiculous excuse of a city council gets their ass handed to them-along with a ruinous fine-in court-democrats turn every city they control into LA, NY or Seattle-I have visited those in the past 15-20 years-but I hear Chicago is even worse-never been there...

Only steers and queers come from the urban areas of Texas. And I don’t see them growing horns.

There are those in Texas - and on this forum - who want to blame this all on the California influx.

California was once a Republican stronghold - before Ronald Reagan betrayed his adopted state with the Apocalyptic Amnesty. California produced two terms each for Reagan and Richard Nixon, native Californian.

Texas, on the other hand, has always had a powerful Democrat component. The evil Lyndon Baines Johnson (he of the sinister, subversive Johnson Amendment) and his equally evil political machine are alone proof of that.

The truth is that, before the disastrous Immigration and Nationality act of 1965, and the Immigration and Reform Act of 1986, California was more generally and consistently conservative and Republican than Texas. San Francisco and Hollywood were the exceptions, not the exemplars.

Texans have long tolerated Democrat corruption in their state, which has contributed to their current danger of turning “blue” - and that is not the fault of Californians, past or present.

It isn’t San Antonio, it’s the idiots we keep electing, the self-replicating, politically incestuous cabal that grows people like Trevino, the Castros and Nirenberg. In a city that’s 65% Latino, the Dems have it way too easy. Thank God there’s no longer a straight ticket option - we lost a lot of good conservative judges last time.

The Left just ruins cities if left untreated checked...I have to think district maps and R’s moving out or just not voting caused much of this.

I bet St. Anthony is not thrilled with the evil suckers running/ruining the city named after him.

I wonder how long until all "San" names will be illegal.
