.... nobody really knows how many illegal crossers enter the United States without being caught. A hundred miles west of El Paso on the border in New Mexico, ranchers say the tidal wave of migrants has left the Border Patrol unable to cover this remote stretch of desert where they live.
"I'm Russell Johnson. I'm the fourth generation to be ranching out here with my family, and this is the barrier that we've got in one stretch of area that my family farms," one of the ranchers told CBN News.
"And as you can see it serves no purpose to stop vehicles or people. It's been cut multiple times, you can step right over it. I mean, it does nothing to stop illegal traffic from coming through, it's not even a deterrent," Johnson said.
CBN News Correspondent Chuck Holton demonstrated how easy it is for migrants to cross at this point on the border. They merely have to jump a short fence.

Most Americans simply dont care. Sorry, ranchers... its the cost of doing business there.
This is just surreal.

The history of the Americas is an interesting exploration. Im not that
versed in the details. But 1492 when Columbus sailed the ocean blue is
a starting point for modern day history. However going backwards a
few millenniums in to what we can find becomes apparent that the
Europeans were very late comers to this part of the world.
An article detailing some theories about the history offers the following:
snip
Today, the emerging theory is that the people up in the Bluefish Caves
some 24,000 years ago were the founders, and that they represent a
culture that was isolated for thousands of years up in the cold north,
incubating a population that would eventually seed everywhere else. This
idea has become known as Beringian Standstill. Those founders had split
from known populations in Siberian Asia some 40,000 years ago, come
across Beringia, and stayed put until around 16,000 years ago.
A New History of the First Peoples in the Americas
I’ve been sayin’ all along and I keep on sayin’, “Deploy the army now.” What else is an army for, if not to defend a nation’s borders?
What we need are minefields, or something else to drive up the risk to the point where it’s not worth it.
Yes, interesting - and illuminating as well.
Years ago some have said to me that the American Indians (native Americans) were actually Mongols that somehow got here. Presumably the continents were quite different then as well, so it was an easier trek.
You are opening up for some interesting discussion on this topic possibly. What is the Internet for if not for our own edification?
Maybe others will care to chime in.

That's correct. We don't know the exact numbers who are not caught, but estimates are around 1/2 a million. Add those to the nearly million who will be "apprehended" and let loose into the country.
1.5 MILLION foreign nationals who disrespect our national sovereignty and rule of law, just in 2019 alone!
On a Typical Day in Fiscal Year 2017, CBP...

SEIZED:
→ 5,863 pounds of narcotics; disrupted 222 pounds of narcotics
→ $265,205 in undeclared or illicit currency
→ $3.3 million worth of products with Intellectual Property Rights violations
IDENTIFIED:

Notes:
1. Fiscal Year 2019 Projected is based on the current 5 month (Oct - Feb) average and does not assume an increase in that average...which more than likely will occur.
2. For the Las Cruces (NM) station, see El Paso Sector.
3. These numbers represent Apprehensions (wind up in our country) and do not include Inadmisibles (generally turned away at points of entry).
In 2019 - up to 500,000 illegal aliens will evade capture by the border patrol and sneak in completely undetected at the border. (these people do not "turn themselves in" and/or are not apprehended as the numbers above represent).
Hey Mexicans, terrorists, Central Americans and any other random illegals: NO MEANS NO!!!
Thanks rktman.
They obviously ignored the ‘CAUTION - TRENCH’ signs.
We need more wall. We elected him for just this kind of reason.
Hope all the valued Trump supporting Catholics here will forgive me now for saying to the Pope:
That sentiment is fine now that you have agreed to pull down the thick wall around the Vatican and have invited tens of thousands of immigrants to enter with free food and drink, shelter, and medical care in the Vatican from now on.
Except you didn't. Old saying: There is nothing so easy to solve as another person's problem.
What we need is a moat filled with hungry Gators, Crocks and Sharks with frickin’ Laser Beams.
Many, if not most, Trump supporting Catholics do not support the current Pope. He should have nothing to say about politics.
It sounds like Catholics are in a tough spot today.
Although he’s not my personal religious leader I like Rev. Franklin Graham but even he said separating the children from adults at the illegal alien crossings was wrong. Sided with the opportunistic Dems for once and played into their evil game plan.
