Chris Rock slammed actor Jussie Smollett at the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) Image Awards on Saturday, declaring that the embattled Empire star had lost his respect.

Well he was thinking that he was going to help is friend Kamala with her anti-lynching bill by staging a fake lynching and blaming it on us, and that he was going to get away with it because he knows all the right Democrats.

Chris rock isnt perfect but he goes against the grain often.
Chris Rock’s perspective is likely that Smollett’s error was thinking that he could get “justice” in Racisss AmeriKKKa. Chris Rock can be hilarious, but he always supports his tribe against all others; principles be damned. Rock would have been fine with it if Smollett had managed to get away with the hoax.

A literal translation, you’re right. But Ebonics often doesn’t translate literally into English as is the case with most languages, if you really want to understand what was meant.
I believe he meant “Jesse [sic] gets no respect from me.
Rock is right for the wrong reasons. He still has to inject a little “white people bad” into his rant.
