Well, now, that sounds mighty familiar. I'm talkin' to you, UK prison wardens!
There was a spot of time when some Islamic philosophers had read Aristotle and became familiar with reason and they were able to have good discussions with other philosophers.
Around 1100 AD some imams got together and decided that western civilization philosophy had no place in the islamic world. They issued death sentences for anyone teaching philosophy or reading it.
When no dialogue is possible with the islamic state there can be no reasoned discussions.
What can you do when you are dealing with people who have not grown mentally since 1100 AD. and they refuse to listen to reason?

The “peaceful” Muslim populations in western nations is nothing more than a time bomb waiting for their signal. How will the west react? Not well is my fear.
