Italy: Muslim father tries to run over daughter for being too Westernized
“A 53-year-old Moroccan man who tried to run over his 22-year-old daughter near Vercelli because she lived ‘western-style’ on Monday said ‘I’ve never laid hands on my daughter, I’m strict but I do it for my children’s good.’ El Mustafa Hayan was arrested on charges of attempted murder.”
So much for the freedom of women to make choices and the duty of migrants to assimilate. This incident captures the meaning of honor killing and violence by Muslims who believe that they commit such crimes for the “honor” or “good” of the family. Here we see Hayan claiming it was for his children’s good. “Good” meaning that it is better to murder his daughter who has violated the tenets of the Sharia rather than to allow her — a woman — to bring shame upon the family in the eyes of Allah.

This is why Islam is incompatible with Judeo-Christian western countries and culture.You would never hear this about a Jew or Christian. Heck; there is no other religion, if we can really call Islam a religion, who would think of doing this. I have heard of things like this happening in the Japanese culture though. They can be really strict and use honor as a reason to justify this kind of behavior. It surprises me but it is what it is. Then again, if I remember right, Japan is not a Judeo-Christian society at all. I’m not even sure they have a religion; more of a philosophy.
