I don’t get it. How can McConnell be so steadfast in getting judges through the Senate, but loss his spine with other important issues?

Great. Another racist, homophobic, woman-hatting fascist on the DC circuit. Sieg heil, Trump! (/Pelosi)

Say what you want about Senate Republicans, but they are standing tall on judges. This is one of Trump's greatest accomplishments.

Hate to say it, but this would not be happening if McPain were still in the Senate.

Because most voters don’t follow the judiciary and don’t really care who voted for which Justice. That’s why the Dems have to using the judiciary to foment a revolution in the last 70 years, only now have the Republicans figured it out. They are way late to the party.

Don't be embarrassed to Thank God that mcpain, that rat bastard, back stabber, crooked skunk is dead and hopefully is at least in Purgatory for 100,000,000 years if not straight to hell.

Oh, did I mention, that I thank him for his service...sorry.

USS Alaska was a very interesting ship.

It resembled the battle cruisers or pocket battleships the Germans had at the beginning of the war. We really didn't need that kind of ship for how we were fighting the Pacific war, but we built it anyway because . . . well, we could.

“I don’t get it. How can McConnell be so steadfast in getting judges through the Senate, but loss his spine with other important issues?”

Keep in mind, he’s Majority Leader, not CZAR. He cannot command other Senators. For the past two years he had a crap hand, having to confirm Kavenaugh with just 51 Republican Senators (and only 50 who wound up voting for him).

One of the things he does that makes him look bad, is that he covers for the RINOs, which I prefer he didn’t, but still, the outcome is the same, the RINOs won’t be his bitch, regardless of what he does or threatens. But the net result, either way, is McConnell getting very little done.

The best example is the 30 hour rule. McConnell wanted to get rid of it last year, as the Dems were abusing it. Guess what...there were RINO holdouts. A couple of times McConnell mentioned it, but still wouldn’t name them (as if we can’t guess). Now he has 53 votes and that rule will be TOAST within a month. Bottom line, I’m ok with McConnell overall, especially given the bunch of toddlers in his caucus.

Oh yea, as I mentioned before - 53 of 53 Republican Senators voted for her, INCLUDING ALL RINOS...and NOT A SINGLE DEMOCRAT, including Manchin.

Keep that in mind when you see trolls here posting that there’s no difference between the parties. There certainly was on this CRITICAL VOTE.

If Sen. Collins voted in favor, I give myself some of the credit for having sent a scorching howler to her office on the subject. Or not... but it couldn’t have hurt; never got a response.

It resembled the battle cruisers or pocket battleships the Germans had at the beginning of the war.

That was the first USS Alaska.

The USS Alaska that I've selected as a screen name is the second one which is an Ohio class nuke sub on which my son, a now retired Navy Captain, started his 25 year career as a nuke engineer. It was obummer that drove him out when he wanted to stay for another five years, but he couldn't stand the obummer's policies.

Steers or queers, which one are you, boy?

Officer and a Gentleman, one of young Richard Geer's best ever movies.
