When you create a favorable environment for parasites, they will seek it out.

Our school systems have to spend so much of their resources on the illegals our own kids get second class status.
Send 20 of them home with each mush-headed liberal that wants them here. Said liberal assumes a financial, medical, education and legal responsibility.

Before they cross the border, they are in Mexican territory. Shooting them while still in Mexico would be an open act of war. Not that Mexico is a true friend, but undeclared war is very naughty. Ask Japan.
Once the illegal steps across the line (over the wire, thru the tunnel, etc.) then he/she/it is on United States soil and all kinds of laws kick in. Sen. Graham is right about illegal invaders being protected (coddled) by U.S. law. At no point are they on “neutral” ground and open to annihilation.
All we can do is grab them, throw them in a truck, and ship them to Costa Rica. Unless they do a Quasimodo and scream “sanctuary” and then we can’t even annoy them after 20 days.
Time for putting the militia on the border, ya think?

I did not read the article If the two suggestions require action by Republicans, it is a lost cause. If the suggestions require action by democrats, it is a lost cause. If the two suggestions require action by both Republicans and democrats, even more of a lost cause.
Congress has been evading this issue for decades. Too much money passing under the table to get anything done. Congressmen are completely willing to ride the country down to destruction and still not act.
There are all traitors.
