The Jussie Smollett hoax is blowing up!
Multiple sources tell ABC 7 Chicago that Jussie Smollet and the 2 men who are being questioned by police staged the attack – allegedly because his character was being written out of the show Empire.
As previously reported, TMZ said Thursday that Chicago police not only brought Jussie Smollett in for additional questioning, but there are two other men being questioned as “persons of interest.”
One person of interest is another ‘Empire’ actor who flew into Chicago’s O’Hare airport late Wednesday night.
THE ATTACKED WAS STAGED — BECAUSE SMOLLETT’S CHARACTER WAS BEING WRITTEN OFF THE SHOW!
The attorney for the brothers just spoke with her clients.

That’s a good name for this, a hate hoax.
Because they don't WANT to confirm it, it goes against their political bias.
There was a TV show filming in Fourth Presbyterian Church today (2-14) on Michigan Avenue around 4pm. There were trucks with spotlights on the back aiming the light right into the church windows from the outside -- to make the stained glass shine inside. They had all the doors to the church blocked off so no one could get in and they had guards posted around the building by the equipment. They had trucks/spotlights on the street by the Four Seasons and then they also had trucks and equipment on the other street at the other side of the church (directly across from Water Tower Place/Hancock). The guards outside said it was EMPIRE filming a funeral scene in there. I looked for filming notices that are usually posted when a show is filming on the street but since this was going on inside I did not see those filming notice signs.
Does anyone know if the show filming at Fourth Presbyterian today was EMPIRE? If so, the show was filming a funeral scene clearly (or else a wedding, but the guards said it was a funeral).
If you put the puzzle pieces together (assuming it was indeed EMPIRE filming a funeral scene today):
-- Jussie finds out at some point weeks ago that his character is being written off the show
-- Jussie sends himself a threatening letter
-- Jussie gets friends to fake an attack before that funeral scene is filmed
Is this all a stunt to prevent EMPIRE from booting him from the show? If you think about it, he would argue that they can't get rid of him now after "this horrible thing happened to him" -- was this a scam to force the show to keep him on and change the plot that was written for his character?
It looks like they went ahead and filmed a funeral for someone on the show. Assuming this was indeed EMPIRE filming at Fourth Presbyterian Church today at 4pm or so on 2/14/19.
Can anyone check who that was filming? There were no CPD officers around, just rented security guys who were kind of disheveled and sloppy. They wouldn't say much than to say it was EMPIRE and it was a funeral scene.

The “He’s was being written out of the script” story is the legend being offered to keep you from understanding that Smollet was in the employ of Kamela Harris and his “lynching” act got Harris’ stalled anti-lynching bill passed. This was a political stunt to get legislation through the Senate. Gonna blow up in their faces now that the two “people of interest” turn out to be black.

Jussie Smollett’s all too public hate hoaxing is really a gift. It puts hate hoaxing n the spotlight and in the mainstream consciousness. It also reveals the obvious problem with hate crime laws.
The perp is also a victim because Whitey b Whitey and Whitey bad.

The Nigerians have flipped on Smollett and were released. I think technically they have committed no crime themselves since he paid them to fake the attack and only he lied to police.
Especially since he may have concocted some story to the brothers about how they were playing parts or auditioning for parts with “Empire” etc. It would seem pretty fishy for 2 am except that (reportedly) they told Chicago PD he had them rehearse it days in advance (presumably at much more reasonable hours), and then he could have concocted some pretext for doing it during the night, such as being secretly filmed/observed for the show when there would not be people around etc.
We don’t yet know the details, of course, but the fact that the brothers were released and not charged does suggest they probably have committed no crime and that the police are satisfied to have won their cooperation as witnesses. Of course, they might still be charged later, but I suspect that Jussie used them in some way which he said was related to “acting” (they know he is on a tv show and they are probably very hungry for opportunities), and that they did not think they were committing crimes.
Let’s cut to the chase:
This...thing...gets to double dip in the “aggrevied minority” pool, so “he” will end up getting out of this unscathed.
