I know people who have done this.

The report is accurate - middle-class or wealthy Chinese are paying $40K-$80K to visit these “birthing centers.” They are usually nice apartments, where they stay for a month after birth. These places may have a midwife. On thing NOT mentioned - if there any health issues whatsoever, the women are sent to PUBLIC hospitals, who treat them like any illegal alien without insurance. They then just skip-out on the charges.

So its not only an immigration scam, its often a welfare scam as well.

It’s so common there’s even a hit movie about it in China called Finding Mr Right (English title).

Here’s a 12 minute clip that starts with her nervously going through customs, trying to hide her pregnancy.

It’s from 2013. This birth tourism has been going on decades.

I’ve seen them in south Orange County. A bunch of pregnant Chinese women walking from a condo to the shopping center, all exactly 9 months pregnant.

This bs was going on in the SF/Oakland area in the late 1960’s.

hmmm. I wonder when they plan to invade with all the offspring. If the child becomes a citizen, when they go back to China are their children (when/if they have them) automatically dual citizens?

“Dual citizenship” isn’t a thing. Sure, these tourism birth babies will have their natural Chinese citizenship and our labyrinthine, “birthright” citizenship, but citizenship of a country is only applicable in/to that country.

You can have citizenship of several countries, and you can have citizenship conferred upon you against your will. You can also have the right to citizenship in countries you don’t wish to belong to.

This is just another case of alarm-ism — nothing will be done to correct the situation.
Does anyone really think that we are smarter than the folks in the EU? Just look at all the muzzies that flood this nation.

I recently flew from LA to Beijing. I was amazed at the number of less than one month old (some looked like they came straight from the hospital!) babies there were on board. On a flight of ~300 people there had to be upwards of 15 or more. I'm not kidding. It was so blatantly obvious what was going on.

What made it even more maddening was having to listen to several of them scream at just about any given time during the entire flight.

If Kamalala (as an anchor baby, born in the US, to two foreign national parents) thinks she’s eligible to run for President, so, too, can all of these tourism anchor babies.

When you have citizenship of two countries, that of course is commonly known as “dual citizenship”, which makes it a “thing”.
