I know people who have done this.
The report is accurate - middle-class or wealthy Chinese are paying $40K-$80K to visit these “birthing centers.” They are usually nice apartments, where they stay for a month after birth. These places may have a midwife. On thing NOT mentioned - if there any health issues whatsoever, the women are sent to PUBLIC hospitals, who treat them like any illegal alien without insurance. They then just skip-out on the charges.
So its not only an immigration scam, its often a welfare scam as well.
It’s so common there’s even a hit movie about it in China called Finding Mr Right (English title).

It’s from 2013. This birth tourism has been going on decades.
Ive seen them in south Orange County. A bunch of pregnant Chinese women walking from a condo to the shopping center, all exactly 9 months pregnant.

This is just another case of alarm-ism — nothing will be done to correct the situation.
Does anyone really think that we are smarter than the folks in the EU? Just look at all the muzzies that flood this nation.
What made it even more maddening was having to listen to several of them scream at just about any given time during the entire flight.
If Kamalala (as an anchor baby, born in the US, to two foreign national parents) thinks shes eligible to run for President, so, too, can all of these tourism anchor babies.
