There must be something wrong with me. This story made me smile and think of "Caddyshack" and Belushi's character trying to get rid of the moles...
I like the approach though - pre-dug graves, no muss, no fuss.

Several other security personnel were rescued by civil defense teams from inside the tunnel

NO WAIT, it's an attack on the phantom group known as Palestinians, that's a favorite of the UN, surely they'll... Oh, right, by a Muslim country, never mind.

Why can’t we do that to the Mexican drug cartels who keep digging massive tunnels into this country for human and drug smuggling purposes? The drug cartels are worse than animals. We need to exterminate them like the vermin that they are.
