Last I heard, there were some 50 wannabes on the Dem side. It will be intresting to see how many are still in the race when the primaries/debates start. With that many potentials, it will be interesting to see who gets the 'big money' support.

I can say for sure that at least 15 Dem candidates have been in Iowa looking for volunteers,and, in many cases, paid staff:

John Delaney, Warren, Julian Castro,
Eric Swalwell, Gillibrand, Hickenlooper,
Harris, Andrew Yang, Marianne Williamson,
Sherrod Brown, Pete Buttigieg, Corey Booker,
Tulsi Gabbard, Eric Holder, Steve Bullock

And I’m sure I’ve missed a few that are asking around in Iowa, and a few more that think they can skip Iowa but will run.
