Russia's Embassador to Lebanon warned on Saturday that the US policy in the region could spark a new conflict between Israel and Lebanon.
Speaking with the Russian Sputnik news agency, Ambassador Alexander Zasypkin said that the United States' actions are aimed at sowing discord in the region.
"As for a conflict between Israel and Lebanon, nothing can be predicted with certainty because the region is at a crossroads. Peoples are demanding the settlement of existing crises, the return to a peaceful life, the development of cooperation. A negative alternative to this is the incitement of new conflicts bt the Americans, which could involve many countries as well as ethnic and religious forces," the diplomat said.

This is true. Any conceivable American policy could lead to a war involving Israel and its neighbors.
If Hezbollah attacks from lebanon, the counter attack will occur at Bandar Shapur as the IAF attacks the Iranain oil port infrastructure by flying and refueling over Saudi Arabia.
The hezballah murdef gang
And its 150,000 misfile bombs need to be eliminated. ASAP. I think it can mostly be done from the air. And in about ten minutes with the right weapons. Two Id tbree days without.
I wonder who would win that war? Hmm?
Needed to add, that Russian (Soviet) Ambassador just as good as said that they’re going to use anything that happens next in Lebanon as an excuse for attacking Israel (and the U.S.?).
GOD’S “hook” As the Ezekiel 38-39 prophecy entails is firmly in place. Will this attack happen before the April 9th elections in Israel? Possibly, if Netanyahu reveals that Iran’s 5 - pointer was a strike on a secret base on that island. See more news at Arutz Sheva for details at their Latest News Briefs.
Russians attacking the US/Israel should please the Putin pecker puffers here.
Hezbollah will attack from Lebanon and Syria through the Golan in the north while Syrian regular army divisions with Iranian Al Quds troops from the north west; Hamas will attack from the south. The whole operation will be commanded by Iranian Major General Soleimani.
The Israeli army is not ready for this sort of concerted attack on all fronts - moral is bad and many units are not deployable or undermanned. This one reason why the IAF keeps up the pressure on Iranian GPS missile factories, depots, and supply lines in Syria - but so far the Iranians are not deterred and missiles keep pouting in from Iran. How many Fateh-110 are ready to go? Waves of them will overwhelm AA defenses and will do major damage to Israel, even if they do not have nuclear warheads ...
It will be brief, Mr. Ambassador...
“Hezbollah will attack from Lebanon and Syria through the Golan in the north while Syrian regular army divisions with Iranian Al Quds troops from the north west; Hamas will attack from the south. The whole operation will be commanded by Iranian Major General Soleimani.”
It’s an interesting strategy, but will not work. The amassing of troops will be seen by Israeli ELINT and HUMINT way before an attack. If the idea is to overwhelm Israeli defenses with missiles then try open up a three front ground attack, Israeli leaders will employ their strategy for repelling this king of attack. And it won’t be pretty.
Overwhelming a missile defense with missile swarms is the latest strategy and every one fears it, because in the end there is no working defense which will stop all missiles. Iron Dome, Arrow I, Arrow II, and David’s Sling only have so many missiles to defend against 10s of thousand of incoming missiles and that’s just the number Hezbollah alone claimed to have months ago. You are correct: it will not be pretty.
Hezbollah now holds three minister level positions in the Lebanese government, so there's a good chance that's who the Iranians are meeting with.
Israel-Lebanon will be a repeat of Georgia Tech-Cumberland

US policy? Lebanon went to war with Israel in 1948. Relations since 1949 have been governed by an Armistace, and subsequent agreements. No peace treaty, as Jordan and Egypt. The dominant political party Hizbollah, is dedicated to Israel's destruction. Any war is likely to be a function of Lebanese aggression. Russia has enhanced the possibility, now a probability, by turning a blind eye to Iran and their aggressive rearming of Hizbollah. The UN has turned a blind eye as well. Russia is correct in a sense, the Obama administration provided the necessary financing for Iranian/Hizbollah/Lebanese aggression. But today the US is on Israel's side.
Well, then, Russia will sell arms in exchange for influence and money to Beirut, just as they did to our antagonists in all the previous wars, except 1948, when they said, “Goody! Israel survived! Now we have steady customers.”
Looks that Saudi Arabia has said that they fully back the Arab Fakeastinans in their quest for their ‘state’ (go figure, ALL of Israel) and Jerusalem as their ‘capital’, so what should Trump’s response be to this statement?
Here the Saudis want help from the U.S. to fight off the attacks from their south and throw oil money for it, and they’re supposedly part of some Arab Coalition states that are again supposedly working to ‘help’ negotiate between the Fakeastinans and the Nation-State of Israel.
Uh huh...
No more help, sorry Saudi. Don’t let the door hit ya’ where the dog shoulda bit ya’.
