Embattled Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam says that he wants to take down Confederate statues and monuments in the state.
“I will take a harder line,” Northam told the Washington Post amid a scandal stemming from a racist photograph on his medical school yearbook page. “If there are statues, if there monuments out there that provoke this type of hatred and bigotry, they need to be in museums.” Northam is facing calls to resign ...

Yep, that’s his penance. He will tear down statues and monuments, to bend over backwards to prove that he is liberal,
And he’s going to find, as many others have, that trying to appease the liberals will not work. He’s still going to be persona non grata with his fellow Democrats and liberals, even if he rips down every statue in the state. Because the black face thing is a crime against humanity to them, nothing he can do will ever atone for that sin.
Of course this doesn’t apply to the Confederate iconography and keepsakes in his private collection at home?
Well he still has to order every copy of the yearbook destroyed.
A democrat tearing down other democrat statues trying to get out of acting in a racially insensitive way. Anyone else see the the irony in this? I’m thinking it was him in the KKK hood.
I doubt the GOP-controlled state legislature will be giving this to him anyway, if they're smart they won't listen to one more word this discredited politician has to say. Maybe they can expand their majority this year due to the Democrat-induced disarray in the state.
Or all those sheets with holes in them.
By the time this thing is all over, the media will have have 3/4 of the country thinking it was all the fault of conservatives. Expect early polls next week.

Somehow the topic of black face has to be rediverted to the killing of children where it all began. The MSM has diverted the assault on our babies by this guy, and needs to be reestablished as to why he’s in the news in the first place so we can once again pump the Democrats as the baby killers they are.

Desperate men tend to project. Raging against the past, not really understanding history of course does nothing, absolutely nothing to solve current problems. Does Northam really believe that people who are outraged by his antics and denials will be placated by destroying statues?
Isn’t it amazing how Northam totally escaped the KKK outfit accusations and now is “Gov. Blackface” — all by deflecting to a supposed past use of blackface to protray Michael Jackson? I bet he WAS the guy in the hood...and he’s getting away with it.
