Former President Barack Obama delivered a speech at Boeings annual executive retreat earlier this month after the company donated $10 million to Obamas library and museum in Chicago.
Obama made an appearance at the retreat to provide leadership tips and waived his usual speaking fee for the occasion, Obamas spokeswoman Katie Hill told Bloomberg. Just last year, former President George W. Bush also provided a speech at the same event.
A spokesman for the Obama Foundation, which is overseeing the creation of the Obama Presidential Center, did not disclose the exact amount Boeing donated to the library and museum fund, but noted that Boeings website says the gift was more than $1 million.
Such a donation isnt a first for Boeing, who previously donated $10 million to the George W. Bush Presidential Center in Dallas.
Were proud to partner with both of these presidential centers, Boeing spokesman Gordon Johndroe told Bloomberg. Johndroe said it is a priority for Boeing to build relationships in the communities where we live and work, given Boeing is headquartered in Chicago and has a new global services division in Dallas.
Other speakers at the recent Boeing retreat included Magic Johnson, the Los Angeles Lakers president of basketball operations and former NBA star.

Or how many times hell say I.
Trump should have it deducted from any future government contracts with them.
Wha??? The fee was $10 Million, says so nearby. He just didn't send them an invoice, and got paid in advance.

“Let’s see: $1 million for the Foundation and $9 million for me!”
WOW, he “waived” his speaking fee!! Well, they only donated $10 million, so I guess that’s kind of a big speaking fee....
I’m probably not the only one thinking “gosh, the whole ‘corporate donation’ scam thing has gotten way out of hand and should perhaps be curtailed”.
We all know it’s graft/payola in broad-daylight.
WTF kind of power does he still have with the Government to make Boeing just give away $10 million?
He’s learned the scam of speaking fees and book deals well from his buddies the Clintons.
Paid speeches and book deals are just legalized corruption. If you want to clean up government then outlawing these payoffs would be a good place to start.
its a payoff for a threat.
shorting Boeing for those 2 reasons.
If I were a Boeing stockholder I would be outraged at this transfer of my money to that criminal and traitor
He’d have to pay me 11 million to listen to him babble and stutter on.
That is $10 million of your tax dollars, folks. Boeing makes billions off the US government.

Quoth Johnny Chung (on the Clinton Administration):
“The White House was like a subway turnstile. You put the money in, and you got in.”
Breaking news.....Obama announced as new Boeing boardmember.
It makes sense..obama couldn’t successfully navigate a paper plane..so I am sure he has a lot of wisdom to impart to Boeing.
THE SCAM UPCLOSE---While Clinton was Secy of State (and Obama was in the WH dining room watching basketball),
the Boeing Corp. got State Dept clearance for a $29 billion arms sale to Saudi Arabia, including Boeings F-15 fighter.
At that time, BOEING (cough) "GAVE" $900,000 to the Clinton Foundation.
And to get Obama to tear himself away from basketball, to sign off on the sales,
Boeing was strong-armed into signing up for the Halfrican's $10 million speech.

NOTE WELL: Obama has refused to divulge who is contributing to his billion-dollar presidential center
knowing full his foreign policy decisions....(the deal with Iran).....were expected to yield dividends once he was out of office.
